Is a replacement for a nearly identical Kitchenaid 30" convection, mounted in cabinet. Main user is a 4.5 out of 5.0 baker. No one is perfect. Wore out its predecessor. Had to move 220V outlet on back wall as the new oven has a different depth penetration. No big deal. Remaining install (by me) very easy. Roll-out shelf a big improvement. Fan can be heard, but the sound is better, not mechanical like previous, i.e. more of a natural wind sound. Not annoying. Large window a nice feature. Controls nearly intuitive, and love the 'Proof' setting. Door operates easily, as well as changing shelf positions.

I recently replaced an 8 year old built in oven with the Kitchenaid Architect series II. The oven is now a centerpiece in our kitchen from a visual perspective and for meal preparation ease. The oven simply looks great and the sleek stainless appearance compliments our kitchen wonderfully. On the performance side, I cant say enough about how quickly and evenly it cooks. Meal preparation time has been cut in half in many instances and our food retains way more moisture and flavor. I will never go back to non convection cooking. The oven also has an amazing feature that has made cooking with convection very simple for me. It translates regular cooking time into convection cooking so that you do not have to worry about over cooking as you learn the new faster durations. I give this oven a 10/10 and look forward to many years of great cooking ahead!

I purchased this wall oven three months ago and have used almost every feature on it. It is terrific! I like to make bread and buns and the bread proofing feature sure speeds things up. I have never had a convection oven before and how nicely all the buns turned out and the cookies when using two racks. The self-cleaning feature is so nice to have. In my 40 years of adult life, I have never had a self-cleaning oven and wow is it ever a breeze. I really really like the bottom rack that has the full extension when pulled out. That was the main reason I bought this particular oven and I am very pleased with my purchase!

Super slow to heat up

I have had two GE Profile convection wall ovens and they were ready to go in under 5 minutes. I just moved into a new house that has the KitchenAid already installed. I am very disappointed in the time it takes for it to heat up. I stand around waiting and waiting. I need to plan baking way in advance because of the slow heat up time. Not a happy camper, as I tend to do things on the spur of the moment. It is nice inside with three shelves, but I can't enjoy it because it takes so long to be able to use those nice features. I seriously wish I had my GE's.
Pros: Design
Cons: very slow preheat

We bought this wall oven as one of six appliances we had to replace in an older house we purchased recently.
The original wall oven was below the counter and we had to duplicate the same placement and as a result that is the only thing that is a disappointment. There was no other available space for the wall oven. The preferred placement would have been at waist height. Having it below the counter makes it difficult to get food in and out.
But otherwise, the oven is a remarkable kitchen tool.
Pros: Performance, easy to use, Design, Innovative, Convenient Features

Bought it a month ago. Need an operating manual that should be issued with the oven instead of having to go on-line.
