ive seen every review possible, read anything and everything that i can find about this camera and it sounds amazing. there really is nothing better than a full frame camera. having that extra room to fill with all ones creativity really makes it something to desire. sony has come a long way from when it first stared making dslr's and now with this wonderful product it really shows how far they are willing to go. the A99 not only lets you capture photos with a wider field of view it lets you can the world with all its beauty. theres just some stories that cant be told to its full extent with a crop sized sensor and now with the a99 you dont have to leave out any details. ive already added mine to my wish list along with a few other goodies id love to have and each day that jar gets filled with more and more pennies and hopefully soon ill have my own.
What's great about it: full frame, OLED, screen that rotates, and much more
What's not so great: cant find any beside that i dont own one

Wow! lets hope this all comes to be as good as it looks. I am a die hard Sony Alpha user, A100,A55, A900,A77 and now a Camera with real speed? lets hope so..........
If AF speed and noise are up to snuff, Sony will have arrived as a leader in the field .
I have one on order lets hope for no disappointments.

Should be an incredibly capable camera. The perfect hybrid for both still & film shoots. It seems to blow the competition out of the water with the current specs. Let the full frame price war begin!

We need to get high Iso pictures

Sony if you want to compete with the Canon 5D Mark III and or the Nikon D800 then you should post high ISO pictures. The pictures I have seen are bad, ISO 800 and above are just as bad as the A77. I like Sony but if you guys are not get your stuff at least as good than I will switch. I own a A580 and ISO 400 and abouve are very bas in low light, the A77 is even worth in low light.

i own an A65 and was anticipating a full frame upgrade...not sure this one cuts it

I have been photographing since I was a teen ager. I have had probably over 20 cameras and the SLT A99V is by far the finest I have ever had. I admire infinitely the quality and expertise of the genius designers of this camera. Now I look forward to having the SLT A99 MkII
