Not as expected

I was disappointed in the counting portion of this learning product. Most kids can count to five quite easily and that is as far as they go with this Learn and Groove Music Player.
Pros: Not engaging enough
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great product - very engaging and cute!

My 22 month old really loves this toy! At first, I thought she might lose interest because there are only a few songs with actual words being sung -- but because all of the songs are fairly short and "Scout" says little expressions between them ("you can do it!" "let's dance!"), she seems to enjoy it even when there are no lyrics. The animations are very cute, and the size is perfect for little hands. She also has LeapFrog's "text and learn" (which she loves) and the counting cell phone by LeapFrog (which she also loves). Out of the three, I like "text and learn" the best, then this one, and then the cell phone - but all are great buys and very educational! Also great to keep her happy during the car.

Fun Musical Toy

My son just got this and so far he loves it. The size is good for his small hands and he loves having music at his fingers. But I think the songs could be a bit more. There are only a few with words and the counting could go higher. Another thing is the screen should be in color. He has the cell phone an he loved it but got tired of it because it's hard to see the screen if the lighting isn't just right. I really like Leap Frog but all their screens have no color and it gives them a bit of a cheap toy feel.

Great Product

We bought this for my daughter and she loves it. Its not a "CONNECT" product but its a great music player and educational toy for my 2 year old Baby Girl.
Pros: Good for on-the-go play, Fun for kids

My 18 month old loves all the music it plays. She loves to dance with it. She feels like she had a cell phone like mommy and doesn't ask to use mine so much.
