Not bad, but not exceptional

I have had this system for less than 6 months. I have always been disappointed with the volume. I always use it on the MAX setting. It's not a bad system and considering the price I'd say it's acceptable. As for the DVD, it stopped working about a week ago and I just haven't gone through the hassle of getting warranty work. I'm sure SONY will repair it for me, but 6 months sure seems like a short time.
What's great about it: Ease of operation
What's not so great: Low volume, DVD stopped working after 6 months
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Decent purchase

Its proven to be a great system for the price. I got it at the sony outlet in pleasant prairie wisconsin; wasnt very satisfied with the service there but was acceptable. but back to the system, it has been awesome so far. I've had it for about a month now... but had to buy a blue ray player also so i could stream netflix and hulu but oh well.

Decent Sound

I'm pleased with the loud, clear and powerful sound when using DVD or FM features. When Cable TV is selected the sound is duller, lower and not as clear. Tried every cable input and out connection but the sound did not improve. Purchased 2 HDMI cables 1 for Video and 1 for Audio. The Cable TV sound improved very little. Keeping for now.
What's great about it: Compact, Space Saver, Sounds Decent
What's not so great: Cable TV connection has a duller sound.

Love the way it plays and sounds with a dvd. Surround is good for the price. Only thing can't get surround sound to play with a movie on tv

USB Port Isn't Working

The USB port in my system doesn't recognize any USB port or flash drive that I put in it. It starts loading, then after a few seconds it says "stop". I can't listen to music that is on my drives and I'm disappointed.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Hello Lyris! We would like to recommend to make sure that the USB flash drive is formatted to FAT32 before attempting to connect it the USB port of this unit to allow the unit to detect the content properly:
