Makes a clicking sound. Stopped venting after 1 month and stopped turning on after 6 weeks. Waiting for new motor now.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Looks great over my stove

Had it professionally installed by an electrician. Didn’t want anything fancy, something simple to go with my GE stove.

Great performance! Very convenient when cooking, lighting is especially helpful as well as the fan which helps control smoke, etc.

It went in readily enough....the fan works but is very loud. I regret mightily that there is no grease shield over the light bulb....no need for extra work in keeping things clean....am currently looking for a less bright bulb as it is impossible to use as a night light if you are of small stature...it gets you right in the eyes! Recommend with these reservations.....

We remodeled our living and kitchen recently, we got a new GE vent hood, GE refrigerator, & GE stove/cooktop. I am very happy with the GE line of products, it has been a dependable brand used in my family as far back as I can remember!!

Don't know if we got a bad unit but when it works it's WHISPER QUITE but when it doesn't it sounds like a freaking JACK HAMMER. will be calling G.E. for a replacement

Looks good over my GE range. Works good too. I installed myself which was a little bit of a struggle because had to lift over my head. Instructions were clear and easy to follow. The only thing I’d say negative is no where in description did I read had to buy power cord. If was there wasn’t noticeable.
