XP-600 Great Little Printer

There are several things I like about this printer. It is probably my 6th Epson Printer over 20 years... I really work them! One thing I liked was the small footprint. The way I use a printer makes the price a big draw also along with the features - I use them all. Also because of the heavy use, I appreciate being able to get high capacity cartridges. Epson Ink is the best in my opinion.

Problem with printer

I bought this printer several months ago because it was on sale but did not open it until today as I was using up ink on my existing Epson printer. I plugged it in and begabn the setup process which continued to error out. The on/off icon on the printer lights up but the neither the display window or other buttons lite up. Basically because I have waited so long to set up the printer it looks like I'm stuck with a produce that can not be returned and does not work on my computer. My other printer is an Epson 610 which works fine.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Quality printing and overall function, pricey ink

If it were not for the frequent need to replace ALL ink cartrages, exceeding the original cost of the printer in a nine month period, I would give this printer 5 stars. Every function works well as advertised; unfortunately, the inefficient ink factor is sadly forcing me to purchase another, more cost effective printer.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Epson XP-600

The Epson XP-600 is a compact printer that takes up a small space and looks good. Set up was a breeze, was able to get this done by just following the easy instructions. The wireless capability is definitely a plus - one of the features I like best.
The LCD control panel is very nice, easy to view, user friendly and can be easily maneuvered to an angle for better viewing.
I bought it primarily for scanning but have been using it for copying and printing features as well. Very easy to use, with great quality printing. So glad my son in law suggested this Epson for my purchase. No regrets here.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Somewhat Frustrated

The other day I was doing quite a bit of printing for an upcoming lesson. I was using several different types of paper. It seemed like I spent a lot of extra time opening - then closing - different trays to complete what I needed. I love the quality of printing, except that once in a while when printing photos, I get smudges on the photo.

I like this all in one. It doesn't have faxing, but who cares. E-mail works fine. It has 2 sided printing and
the color printing is great. Also a very good value.
