I have really enjoyed the printer. It has been efficient on ink. I like the separate color tanks. No complaints so far and I've been using it for several months! Also like the fact that I'm not wired anymore!!!

Great printer!

This XP-600 Printer is my fourth Epson Printer. Print quality is great. The previous printer was an Artisan 800. This XP-600 has most of the features of the larger model without the weight and bulk. I was very pleased to discover the new ability to adjust the size of copies, enlarging or shrinking them in the printer in the process of copying. The integrated program and hardware to print labels directly on CDs/DVDs is very useful. The front- loading feature helps shrink the footprint, and the pull-out print receiving tray mechanism is sturdier than others. The lack of obstructions at one end or the other of the scanning surface allows long items to be scanned in sections. The double-sided printing capability is very helpful, and in this model takes up much less space than in previous printers. Finally, the ability to directly view and print from SD or MSDuo cards is a bonus. All this for the low price is a major bargain. I really like it!

Bought 2 of these XP-600 Small-In-Ones - one for my granddaughter and one for myself. We both love them for different reasons....
My granddaughter likes the ability to print pictures from her phone directly to the printer. I use the printer for business and personal. Especially like the ability to print two-sided or booklet style. We both love the compact size which allows for the machine to be set up almost anywhere. And the set-up is simple and easy to do.

I really do like the printer and the quality of DVD covers I can produce with it. The problem is that now on of the ink cartridges are no longer available except for online. Very inconvenient! Another feature that I don't like is that you cannot print anything if one cartridge goes low. Yes, you read that right, it flat won't print anything even though you know there is still ink in the cartridge.

The worst printer ever!

This was my first ever Epsom purchase and will be my last. Although it is only 3 months old, I am ready to throw it in the trash. Print quality is fair at best. But the ability to print is the biggest challenge. It constantly jams. It takes at least 5 sheets of valuable paper to get 1 page to print. It frequently indicates it is out of paper, when it is not. I have done everything required, including using only Epsom paper and have had very little success in printing. I have owned other brands for years and have never had such problems. I would donate this printer to a local charity but am embarrassed to do so.

XP-600: decent all-in-one machine

I like the features of the machine a lot - it is very compact and can be placed anywhere at home since it connects over WiFi, and it works seamlessly on all the computers at home. Setup was also quite easy.
Photo printing is great, both sharpness and color. B&W prints - not so much, but that may be caused by paper, and it's still acceptable.
Scan and copy also works well, nothing to complain about.
There are just a couple drawbacks I noticed.
First, it eats up ink very fast, and that isn't cheap. I got about 20 photos and 30 invitations (which are just a bit of text on a photo paper) 4x6, and ran out of ink out of standard color cartridges that were in the box. Black was also gone pretty fast. And the indication is very imprecise - it sowed up full and then all of a sudden almost empty.
Second was that it already (in less than 6 months) required printing head cleaning. At some point it just started printing B&W with huge spaces. Tech support recommended cleaning, as many cycles as it takes to get the result, and it took 5 or 6 cycles before black reappeared.
Bottom line: Overall I am satisfied, it works great for the amount of work we load it with.
