wireless connection can only be made with USB Cabl

The wireless connection needs firmwire updates to work. this is only made with a USB cable. two hours later .... not a good wireless printer

Purchased the XP-600 on August 5, 2013. After making several loud popping noises it quit working on September 25, 2013. It didn't last long enough to even need ink cartridge replacement.
In defense of Epson: Epson technical help was reachable by telephone without delay and has promised prompt replacement of this printer at a minimal inconvenience.

Easy set-up

I just set up my new wireless printer. I was afraid it would be difficult to add to the wifi network. It was very easy & the printing is fast, quiet & awesome!

XP 600 Looks good so far

I have owned this machine for about 8 hours, so haven't experienced all it can do for me. However, the installation went well, with easy instructions. And the test print and another thing I printed both look very good.
The only question I have, and maybe this makes me an idiot, is: The power cord wants to fall out of it's figure 8 connection in the back of the printer, and I'd like to know how to prevent that. I've tried pushing it in real hard, but that doesn't work. I tried turning it around, but that makes no difference. What am I not doing right? I'm really concerned about this because I have cats that wander all over my desk where the printer sits.
Otherwise, the printer is a nice size, and seems to work well.
I would recommend this to a friend!

In my many years with different printers, the Epson XP-600 is the best of the best. Quick, easy setup, feature rich, and Photos that rival or beat kiosk or mail order prints. Wireless features are great.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I've been using Epson Printers for at least 15 years, regretfully I have to say the XP series is not living up to the Epson name.

Acquired this soon to be retired model and I am very pleased. The marked down price makes this small-in-one a terrific value. Set up was simple and it was ready for work in minutes.
