I DO NOT LIKE THIS PRINTER

Will not allow me to print a grayscale mailing label because it claims Cyan cartridge is out of ink. Also, does not print color photos well even when ink is brand new...photos come out blurry.

So far I've not been able to print a single item. I've done the head cleaning many times, but to no effect--other than using up a lot of ink.

i have had my printer for well over a year. It was installed several times over and over again, because it kept goig offline. I finally had my nephew look at it and he figured it out. I had to down load new software, not use the cd it came with, it was outdated. Thanks for letting me know.
I even bought new, but decided to keep trying, and re installed over and over. It is working now, no I would not buy another one

What a beautiful machine. Very easy to set up, a six year old could set up without a problem!!
Have always purchased Hp printers and I am Very Happy to make the switch!
Thank you for making life easier!

I set this printer up and had issues printing and getting a good quality output. You HAVE to make sure you go through the maintenance section for the print heads. Before you try to use it. After cleaning the print heads and aligning them it works great.

Not happy with printer

Bought this printer in July after doing research - at that time it got good reviews. However, once we changed out the text black ink cartridge (double sized cartridge) and then all the others, it worked for a while, then would not print text at all. Other reviews indicate that this is a common problem. Got a replacement printer from Epson, have just set it up, and the replacement has the same issues. We will be calling Epson to find out our options, as we do not really want another of these printers.
We have had numerous Epson printers over about 10 years, have always been happy, never had a problem, until this printer.

Worked for a time. Basically a paper weight now.

Worked fine for nearly a year. Now? Burns through ink, like the whole cartridge after printing less than 10 pages.
Oh, and decides when the color cartridges are about half empty that it can no longer recognize the cartridges.

Very poor documentation

It looks like it might be a nice printer for low end jobs and it probably is. But it was a royal pain to set up and still would not print a test page, flashing a little screen telling me to load paper (which was already loaded) and replace the tray (which I did repeatedly). We went on line for further documentation for troubleshooting-- no luck! It just gave me the obvious things to do like checking for paper jams and cable connections, which I already did. And, since it was a Saturday, Epson called it quitters early, so no telephone support either.
Maybe I just got a lemon, but I've never had this level of problems with Epson products before!
Really, how expensive could it possibly be to put a little more of a detailed manual on-line or on the CD software?
How hard could it be to explain how to do CD printing or troubleshoot common problems?
Minimal documentation is fine when things work great the first time. But when they don't, it is sorely needed!
