An excellent printer for the home office. It handles all paper types and sizes. The scanning software that comes with the printer is the best I have used with its full size preview screen so you see the final scan. For printing photos, it is excellent and can print on various size photo papers. The finished photos are outstanding in color depth. I like the multiple ink cartridges so if one color runs out that is the only one you replace. It is quiet and quick. It also have multiple ways to connect from wifi to USB and is network capable. I would recommend this printer to anyone considering the purchase of a new printer.

no cable

My Epson XP-600, brand new, does not include the cable to attach my computer to the printer. "Cable sold separately." My stupid WiFi won't let me add it. (WiFi problem, not printer problem). I don't think it's too much to ask to have the cable included with the printer. Haven't tried the printer yet because I HAVE TO BUY THE CABLE.

RX580 is MUCH better than the XP600

My old Epsom RX580 was a far superior printer until it refused to 'recognize' the ink cartridges. It had a better paper feed and the printer tray was much sturdier as well as much easier to access. This printer, XP600, has a cheap plastic feel and appears to be VERY breakable. The RX580 was a reconditioned model and was 'free' with purchase of my computer, six years ago. I had to pay for this one. Bummer.

Not real good

At first this printer seemed like it would work fine. I've had it well awhile now, well over a year. It uses a lot of ink. Photo quality has deteriorated. I have to clean the heads often and that uses an incredible amount of ink. Printed out a photo today with streaks all over it. Clean the head and checked the printout. The pink lines were missing parts. Cleaned again and all of the pink was missine. Cleaned a 3rd time and all lines were present. Looked at my ink level and they WERE full when I started. Colors all dropped 50%. The qualoty of the photo was just ok. Had a few lines going threw the center. Only epson, no more after this.
