everything was great until I replaced the ink, replaced with x273 black and the other 4 small ones, black don't work, called customer support, cleaned and followed instructions, returned it when I received another one , did the same thing ,black ink would not print, cleaned the print heads couple of times ,no print black they sent me another black ink cartage ,finally got it to print, very expensive to replace ink. got about 1/4 color and full 273 black finally, after replacing the first printer with 273xl and 273 color

Although I have never had an All IN One printer prior I must say that the Epson XP 600 has lived up to it's advertisement. I have always preferred each piece of equipment to be separate knowing the old saying if one part goes it is all gone. However finding a small single serve printer on its own is not easy anymore. I do a lot of photo work and I needed a good quality printer and paper for that. The photo quality of this printer is excellent and once you figure out all the settings works well. Being a 72 year old granny and using single products all with push button assigned to a designated job the touch screen with all its options was a little overwhelming at first but once you get into it and see what it can do well it is really a good one. Its compact size is also another great feature. All in all I would say if you are looking for a printer that does everything and fits nicely on your desk this is the one for you. I have always purchased Epson and have not had any regrets.

No problems exept that the software package did not include the app for scanning and transfering the scan file to my computer.

Excellent printer, great quality photos. Works even better when you set preferences to let the printer control the settings for color control.

Burns through ink. The black was empty after 15 pages of text.

This is the first printer I purchased over the internet. I just love it. The picture quality is just like if not better than when I would have a store print my photos. Replacement of ink is simple. I would recommend this printer to anyone.

While set-up was easy, I didn't realize the printer would not function/print properly or at all if one of the five catridges was near empty. I also have a black catridge that no longer works even though it is 2/3rd full. I would return or trade-in this printer if I could. When it works, it's fine and has easy to use network features and on screen prompts.

More than I expected.

I needed a replacement for my outdated printer and bought this one because it had the smallest footprint.
Pros: Excellent, speedy printing on normal paper (duplex), quality printing on glossy paper; Easy to use cd/dvd labeling; Good scanning results and creation of searchable PDF’s due to the included ABBY Fine Reader Sprint; The Epson Software Updater is a definite plus. Once installed, it does all the updating, that is firmware and software, almost on its own. Very nice fire-and-forget software.
General cons: Like with all other brands the refill is moneywise painful.
Personal cons: As this is my first Epson of this new series, I’m surprised by the quality and performance. If this is due to the xp-850 as well, I would have gone for the all-sing-all-dance machine, which is adding duplex scanning and fax.
