The included software did not include the latest drivers and it took a while to get set up. Now that it's up and running it's great to be able to wirelessly print from both my iMac and iPhone. Photos come out exceptionally clear and bright.
The print speed is much improver over my previous printer.
I also like the de small footprint of the small in one.
I would recommend this to a friend!

A great buy!

Although I've only had the printer for a week, it has so far proven to be a great buy! Setup was simple and the first scans and prints have been what I expected. I haven't printed any photos yet (hence the 4 Stars instead of 5), but based on past experience with Epson printers, I'm sure they will be of comparable quality. I especially like the two-sided printing which has already saved me a lot of paper! All-in-all this inexpensive small-in-one gives big bang for the buck!
I would recommend this to a friend!

Firmware failure

Just hooked up my XP-600 and the test page printing was excellent. Had to do a firmware update, which was eventually accomplished, but not from the install page. After the firmware update print quality was horrible. Checked the print head and it was clogged already. Cleaned it and print quality improved but was still not good. Run from this printer, don't even consider it.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Output Tray

The XP -600 WILL NOT PRINT PERIOD IF THE OUTPUT TRAY IS NOT MANUALLY PULLED OUT FIRST! Good luck on that printing from anywhere if you forgot to pull the tray out before leaving the house!

Could be alot better

The nice part of this printer that it's nice and compact. Prints average speed and does good quality color prints. Here's the bad parts - It used up ink super fast. I only prints BW with an occasional color. Use the XL cartridge it seemd like it last longer that's because it's double the capacity an price. Don't like that there's so many trays for different printing. No paper feed in the back for enevople. If I was to purchase now I would buy a different brand.

Sorry I purchased this printer. There are so many steps to do one printing. To load paper you have to pull out one of two cassettes to load paper. Then have to remember to pull out the output tray. Every time you want to change what you are doing you have to go through three steps. Making sure the output tray is out.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

An inexpensive, compact, full service machine that is perfect for a small in-home office. Wireless and two-sided printing are only two of the pluses. I would recommend it to everybody.
