I wouldn't recommend

I bought this printer in March and I've had to clean the print heads several times. Eventually the cleaning didn't work and I called Epson. After troubleshooting they sent me a refurbished printer. That printer wouldn't wouldn't feed paper without jamming. So again I called Epson and they sent me another refurbished printer. It is better than the first one but I already had to clean the print heads and the nozzle check still shows that the cyan is missing parts of the lines. I've always been an Epson fan but this printer has not worked out at all. I have a 1400 wide format printer from Epson and it sits for a long time and prints beautifully.

First one had black clogged nozzles within the first 3 months. Epson sent me a another printer. Clogged up again on the document black. Epson sent me another printer. This one has now worked for two weeks. I have my fingers crossed. I really want my old 1400 back. It worked perfect for years.

Not at all pleased

After a week of use the black clogged so badly that this printer is absolutely worthless!!!!! Cleaning doesn't work, changing ink doesn't work. Nothing works! I have had many Epson printers from a 1520, 2200 to a 3800 and have had absolutely no trouble with them, but this printer is just useless.

Ink supply in new printer

I was dismayed to find that on second use of the XP-600 "check ink supply" indicated a need to buy refills. After printing only 5 copies? Hardly cricket of you, or did you make a mistake? The high price of replacement cartridges makes one wonder how long they'll last before they too have to be replaced.

Horrible Quality

When the carriage on my HP printer jammed, I was talked into replacing it with the Epson XP-600. The very first time I tried to use it, for a black and white itinerary, it wouldn't print more than a snippet of the heading, awash in streaks, and it then left the rest of the page blank. I took it in to be checked out and the guy fiddled with it, got it to print (although he did not show me the printed matter up close, so who knows how the quality was?), advised me always to leave it on so that the ink wouldn't dry out, and sent me home thinking the problem had been fixed. I set it back up and left it on, per his advice. The next document I tried to print, also black and white, had stunted letters on every other line and uneven darkness throughout. Today, I tried to print a color brochure. The color is incredibly washed out, print darkness is uneven, and there are orange vertical lines across the whole page. I've never had a printer that worked this badly from day 1. A brand-new printer should work. Ridiculous!

Not Impressed

I bought this unit because it is capable of printing directly onto CDs. I had been using an Epson R340 printer that wore out. This was supposed to be a replacement and upgrade. It is neither. The software (Media Face) I use to make CD labels will not work with this printer. You have to use the Epson Print CD software which produces inferior printing than the R340. I have to save the art files as pdf files and then import them into the Epson software. This might be a nice printer for home use, but certainly not for professional use. I own a recording studio so the CDs I print have to be of better quality.

Unreliable

This printer continuously goes "offline" when you try to print wirelessly. The printer needs to be turned off and then back on each time you want to print something. Sometimes, it remains offline even after that. Even when connected to the wifi, the printer will not print. In addition, it runs out of ink at a very rapid pace. When one cartridge of ink runs out (such as yellow) you will not be able to print anything in any other color, including black and white. I would not recommend this printer. There is no point in having a wireless printer that you have to turn off and on and reconnect the wifi each time you want to print in the hopes that it works. Very disappointed in this "wireless" printer.

Good Photo Printer

I purchased this printer for printing photo, it does an excellent job and the print quality is good. The only issue I see with this printer would be how quickly I have to replace the ink. I have learned to have at least one to two backs up for each color on hand at all times. I woudl recommend this printer.
