Needs Changes

I cannot recommend this product for the following reasons -
1 - When I want to scan a document to my computer to only option to select is color, why is this, I may only want black and white.
2 - Currently I have this printer set up to print wireless. However, frequently I will attempt to print and nothing happens as far as the printer is concerned. I then check printer status on my computer and all looks well and it shows, for example, three documents in queue, but never prints. The only way I can get it to print is to power off the printer and power it back up then the queued documents will print. Having to power down and back up wastes printer ink I am told.

Disappointed

I bought this device mainly for scanning text & graphics into PowerPoint for teaching (PPT). The WF-3520 printed a test page, plus the title page of an existing PPT, and thus was communicating via my USB cable with my PC. When trying to scan, the Progress display (green bar) extended from 0 to 100% if its length. But over the next 3 hours of trying to scan a page to my PC (PDF or email) I received a variety of error messages:
1. Saving: Processing Data. Please wait. (Nothing happened). 2. Communication Error. Check if a computer is connected. 3. Epson Event Manager: X The selected device is read-only. Select another device in which to save files. 4. The server is unavailable. 5. An error occurred while starting the email application. I'll try to access the Epson Support website in search of troubleshooting tips not included in the Quick Guide.

WF-3250 Review

This printer gets the job done, albeit with a few issues. If printing isn't done frequently, every day or two, part of the head must dry out because there are lines on the print in the colored areas. Any inkjet printer is working with two items that are diametrically opposed to one another, i.e. wanting the ink to dry quickly on the paper so it does not smudge and not drying out on the nozzle head before the next print job. The two sided printing works fine either by top feed or via printing from a computer. The legal size printing has issues that result in lines that are not continually straight but have a zig or zag as the paper goes through the various guides. Adjustment of the tray guides does nothing to alleviate this problem. It's even worse if the single feed slot at the rear of the printer is used. It does print very fast and has good colors and has no lines if printing jobs are frequent. The ink does not run if the paper gets wet or a highliter is used which is a real plus. I guess a good rating is being generous.

The best and most easiest to set up and use. Printed pictures are very clear - looks professional developed. Printing is amazingly fast. Very useful for home and business.

Printer is rugged enough for me. All of the basic features work great. Wireless works ok, but I wish I could set-up the security a little better. I also wish I could only install the features I wanted on the installation CD - it's either all or nothing. Couldn't find anything about how much RAM was required for all of the features to run - it slowed down my Dell with 2gB.
Works GREAT and fast on my wifes Dell with 4gB.

just started setting up the printer. Installing driver, and software. The windows 7 operating system is not accepting the driver for the WF 3520 all in one printer. Have started downloading the drivers from Epson, will have to see if this will fix the problem
