So Easy!!

Purchased the WF-3520 and very simple and easy to install. Connected to our wireless network fast and to one of our laptops wirelessly with out a hitch. The first item printed okay. Would not say the quality is great on 20lb plain paper but okay for Standard Print setting. So, wanting to try the auto double sided, changed setting to High Quality and used the density option, and the print was excellent. The auto double sided feature is a huge plus for a printer of this price point. Very satisfied with printer.

Junky printer

I have had this printer for about six months and have hated it from the beginning. I am working on my family's genealogy, therefore, I do a lot of printing and copy a lot of photos. Putting the paper in the drawer is a pain, and I have yet to figure out how to change the size of the photos I am copying or the shade of the colors of the photo either. Well today I had to install new ink and when I went to open the lid on the ink container the container slid out of place and came part way open, now I can't get it all the way open or all the way shut, and therefore the scanning unit won't shut either. I have always used one other brand of printer, that was so easy to operate it was almost as if it operated itself.

Demo Model 3520 Doesn't Work
on July 7, 2014

Having bought the Demo Model as the last one in the store, I found when getting the printer home the black would not print and the color was faded/unsatisfactory. After calling the Rockland store, they assured me the printer would be replaced. I live on an island, so this problem is really an inconvenience requiring me to get on the ferry boat in the morning and returning in the late afternoon. Sure, I should have checked the printer before leaving the store and, potentially, avoided the problem. One presumes the Demo model has been working and has been checked-silly me. I believe the Epson printer is very good and will perform as advertised, but the replacement will be checked before I leave the store!!

I have not had a chance to use the printer much, but so far it has been very good. Only complaint is ink is not very dark. Makes copies very fast.
