Terrible printer

This printer is terrible. I was unable to establish a network connection. It would not even connect properly to my computer. I have to use a generic Epson driver to use this printer and most of it's features are unavailable

Quite disappointed so far

I just retired so I did a lot of research to choose my first light duty inexpensive home printer. This model came up well rated multiple times so I purchased and installed 2 days ago.
So far my 2 "impressions":
1. Installing from the Printer CD shut down all my Office 2013 applications! Turns out this is a know issue with the ABBYY Finereader add on. Hard to believe that Epson doesn't know about this and but could find no mention of it at their support site. Had to go to a Microsoft Chat area to find out I needed to uninstall ABBYY to get my MS programs to launch.
2. Have only printed a couple sheets so far but am very disappointed in the print quality. Very grainy, choppy and washed out. I expected a lot better quality (though not top notch) from an Epson home unit.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Wow..its bad. Picture printing quality is really bad. Replacements ultra expensive. Do not buy this product. Very disapointing. When printing a line down the middle of your printout.
Epson..you must do better

The printer produces very poor quality pictures. It also smears out the bottom edge of the picture. Lousy printer.

Just out of the box, broken and no support

I bought this today, Sunday. After starting it and entering date, etc., it tried to print a test page and couldn't. It told me to turn off and on, including an error code. I tried 3 times. the online manual says the message means a serious error and I need to contact customer support--which doesn't exist on Sunday. Hopefully it will on Columbus Day, tomorrow Horrible experience!!

The setup was fairly easy and straight forward. And it was easy and no hitches to print from my laptop. But for my desktop, that's another story. I still can't get it to print from desktop. I'm frustrated.
