Printer will not clear after a paper jams. I then have to turn the machine off and restart it. I also do not like the way the paper is picked up. It grabs more than 1 page and that is often why it jambs.

Epson wf 3520 Fax Problems
on April 5, 2013

Have been using the 3520 for several months and overall I like the product but it has a serious problem with its fax automatic pick-up function. Check PC magazine reviews for similar complaints. The machine will start to pick up a fax in the middle of a phone conversation. I have changed the distinctive ring several times with the same problem. If you need this machine to pick up a fax automatically don't buy it until Epson acknowledges the problem and has a software/firmware update.

i was looking for a printer to start my invitation business. i told the employee that i would be printing on envelopes, stock paper, and some photos as well. i said i wanted a printer that delivers good color and quality images. he recommended the EPSON WF-3520. i started on the envelopes and about 10% of the time it was pulling the envelope crooked. when i went to print my logo on the envelopes excess ink ran onto the envelope as well. for these reasons i will be contacting EPSON about my issues. i have a 1 yr manufactures warranty and a 2 yr store warranty. hopefully my issue will be resolved :/

Installed printer and was no able to get to the internet. Computer was connected but could not get a web page. It kept saying page not available. I ran system restore, it deleted the printer software and then the computer was able to get on the internet. We returned the printer to the store.

Will break down in about 4 months. This unit does not work in Windows 8. This model WF3530 has to have an additional driver installed to operate from Windows 8 and when it does, it will shut down and will not reboot.

Great printer...

I've installed two other Epson printers so I was looking forward to the installation being an easy process...it was not.
I'm a self taught, 70 yr old computer guru with a new Mac. The one glitch I had was with the Connection Options...I didn't think they were well explained. Using a USB cable, I couldn't figure out which dot to click when the instructions asked if I wanted to connect wireless for the first time, wireless to a previously installed printer or using a USB cable (which I was told to use). After researching on the internet, I learned that I wanted to connect wireless for the first time, even though I was instructed to use the USB cable. Enough said. Then, after unplugging the USB cable the printer wouldn't work. I realized I had to turn the computer off and on again before it would print. Those two things were frustrating to me.
The printer had good reviews so I'm hoping I'll like it. It prints two sided and does great color photos. I wish the paper tray were less flexible...the paper moves a lot in the tray. Oh well...it works!

I sent this printer to my son for a birthday present. I have always bought Epson all in one printers for myself in the past. They delivered 2 that had problems so my son just gave up and told them NOT to send a third. I, myself had a problem with a photo scanner that I returned 2 times before learning that if you have an Epson scanner in your printer, the photo scanner will not work.
