Just got it and got it set up. So far so good. Makes beautiful copies. Have printed over 50 pages which isn't all that much but it considering it has only been set up for 5 hours.

Ok, but....

Just set it up. Unfortunately the instructions didn't coincide with the pictures in the manual. Also, they added a new type of power cord from previous Epson's, "WHY???" I ask. What a waste. Next the print is ok, but the plastic is sure flimsy. No problem setting up Windows Wireless, but no USB cord and directions didn't match machine or schematic for where port is, there isn't one. Epson has a long way to go to be really professional.
I will now try setting up a MacPro with the new X. Hold your breath.

Easy setup, but where's the online user's guide?

Setup was easy and took a while; it was unclear what parts of the download were necessary to run the printer and what was extra to help Epson keep selling me stuff. I needed to find the online user guide in order to print legal docs using the back part of the printer and cannot see an easy way to get to it.

I work quite a bit from home, and I went through 4 HP printers, about 1 every 6 months or so, so we switched to this printer, and I have yet to have a problem. It is quick, efficient, and is not bad on Ink use. I was impressed after dealing with so many printer issues often. It is easy to load, very few problems with paper jamming, and good on ink. Best printer I've ever had

I really like the two sided printing. It does jam once in a while. I can deal with that. The printer ink runs out very soon and it streaks when I print pictures if I don't clean the head every time I print something. I always clean the heads before I print a picture or make a greeting card. I can understand it if I don't print for a week but when I print stuff every day I don't like that. It makes me use too much ink. Everything else works fine and I do like the printer. I can't seam to use the rear load, it is just an extra that doesn't work.

I like the overall function of the printer. Good speed. Easy to set up. I'm disappointed that the scanner software has not been updated to work wirelessly with the latest Mac operating system.

fairly good small office printer

The wireless function works well from some distance and the two-sided printing is really worth the price, something usually found on much more expensive equipment. Quality of prints is good, right up to photos, however there are drawbacks: I have yet to figure out how to copy from legal sized to legal sized as the rear loader won't function when I try. Also, the back feeder will only allow one envelope at a time and they will not load from the front, this is a real pain. Other than those two problems, I really like this printer, another good product from Epson.

Printer works great. It does not jam, it prints items from the internet and it does not lose it's wi-fi connection. It was very easy to set-up. Only reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5 is that it doesn't seem that I'm getting as many black & white copies as advertised, but I haven't been tracking it that closely so not sure.
