Great printer

I had purchased the WorkForce 3520 for my own use. After using it for a month or two, our church needed a new copy machine. I talked the church into letting me purchase the same printer for them. This is a great all in one printer. It takes longer to let the printer initialize the ink than it does to set the entire printer up. Easy setup with great performance with or without a computer. Wonderful standalone copy machine.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Great printer for the money!

As many have said. This printer is quick, quite, and reliable. The cost to operate is inexpensive compared to the competition and easy to set up for any support system. Network and airprint set up is quick and easy. Hard to compare to any other printer out there.

Great Printer - Epson Workforce 3520!

This all-in-one printer is excellent for both personal and business use. With an easy and quick installation, it offers both wired and wireless connectivity. I can print and scan anywhere with the Epson Connect feature. I've scanned and saved binders of hardcopies as PDF and Word files, thus clearing space on my bookshelf. The print speed is good and the two-sided printing and copying work very well. I have purchased Epson printers in the past and this one is the best.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Features of a more expensive machine

This is the seventh printer I have owned and due to budgetary restraints, I always have to look at the cheapest models.
I have owned Epson printers before and the feature I like is the separate color cartridges as I print a lot of photographs for my family. That is why I looked particularly for an Epson this time.
I haven't yet used the fax facility but copying is good and the printing is fast in both color and black. It is also very quiet.
The double sided printing is a boon and saves me having to print all the odd numbered pages then re-load the paper and print the even numbered pages. It is like having an office in my home, especially the multi-page copying facility.
I have now owned this 3520 for almost a month and am very pleased with everything about it.
The only small thing is the fact that it needs a dedicated phone line for the fax and will not work through my wi-fi system for that, although internet printing works well.

Could Not Install

I was unable to get this printer to function completely on my Windows 8 laptop. At first the printer worked part of the time but the scanner never worked. After I tried other installs before and after uninstalling everything, I was unable to get past the PRINT TEST PAGE at which point I got an error message saying the installation had stopped and the program was closing. For some reason or other, the software tried to install the printer with a MAC address and then told me at the end that my router would not accept a MAC address. However, I was installing this on a Windows 8 system.
Office 2013 products would not run after AbbyyFineReader was installed, but did run again after I uninstalled it. So I think the two products are incompatible.
My cell phone will no longer connect to wireless locations since I rad Epson Connect. Have not figured out what to do about that.
Have returned printer to retailer.
Thanks for the try. It look like a great printer and just what I needed. Wish I could figure out if it is the printer or Windows 8.

Easy set up!

I received this product on 7-23-13. I set it up myself the next day. The set up was quick and easy. It prints very fast and the text is clear. I am glad I brought this product. I was able to install this on Windows 8.

Speed is extremely poor, goes off line easily, can't get wireless scan to work...isn't that one of the features?

Awesome Printer!

The quality of this printer versus the cost is awesome. I love that I can print from anywhere on my phone. I can take a picture in New Hampshire and instantly print it at my home in Massachusetts. This is by far the best printer I have ever owned. I am a freelance writer and photographer by trade and not a day goes by without me printing something that is important to my business.
I would recommend this to a friend!
