It prints, scans and copies good. My biggest disappointment is the ink replacement. Once you run out of a color, you have to replace it or you can't print. My previous printer would allow me to print in black, even if out ran out of a color cartridge. I don't even use the colored in much!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

WF-3520

Had this printer abut 10 months now and couldn't be happier. It replaced an Artisan 800 which was giving me an error message that print pads or something was ending it useful life & needed replaced. Well, after searching on the internet to figure out my options I found out that they couldn't be since the printer was no longer in production or it would cost nearly as much as a new one since prices have come down. Plus certain things like the automatic feed was broken & I could no longer print from my iPad due to software changes. So I started looking at my options. I've always had Epson printers and new I wouldn't change now.
The WF-3520 was easy to set up and add to my network for wireless printing. I liked features such as the size of the paper tray and the fact the the ADF is stationary & sturdy - not like the Artisan that folded over to close, and that it had auto-duplex printing out of the box - I didn't have to buy additional part(s) to do so. I am a student so being able to print both sides is a life saver. Ink cartridge life is adequate also. Pictures come out crisp. So far no complaints.

I liked the printer when it was connected via USB. When I reinstalled for wireless, the USB Storage and Memory Card do not work.

on sale it has a lot of features for the money. It was easy to set up and connect to my network. It looks like it will be a good machine and I bought the 3 year warranty in hopes that it will outlast my computer.

I am still finding my way around this printer. I previously had a WF500, which I loved. When I updated my computer to Windows 7, I could no longer use the WF500. I'm sure I'll become acquainted with this new printer soon. I realize you are saving paper by putting the tutorials online rather than in print. but if I had instructions in a booklet, I could learn much more easily. I'm 73 years old and still prefer to have a booklet in my hands to learn the workings of a piece of equipment.

I'm so happy a friend recommended purchasing an Epson printer. I have a Mac Power Book and this printer works well with my Mac. It's was easy to set up and although I didn't think I would copy and scan, I've used both features without difficulty. Printing on both sides works smoothly and the WIFI communication is reliable. Great purchase!

Saves time and stress

I am very impressed with the setup process. Easy to get it out of the box and onto the desk. The setup disk was super simple and the printer works exactly as expected. We had an Epson NX420 which was a very reliable and sturdy printer for us. We needed more scanning capabilities and faster print speeds and it looks like the WF-3520 best fit our needs. I was very excited to wirelessly print a PDF from my iPhone less than 15 minutes after I had opened the box. The only reason it took 15 minutes is because that is about how long the printer took to initialize itself after being turned on for the first time. My wife prints 100's of documents a week for work and I am excited about the time savings and stress reduction this printer is going to provide for her!

Workforce WF 3520

After nearly driving myself looney doing so much research to replace our aging Epson Stylus CX7800, I finally zeroed in on the Workforce WF 3520. I had to expand my idea of how much I would spend, but this printer is definitely in line with or less expensive than its competitors. It has all the features I was looking for (except two paper feeder trays, which would cost more than I was willing to pay for that one feature).
It was been exceedingly easy to get it up and running without a hitch. Printing is extremely fast, especially compared to the old printer, which was fast in its day. The wi-fi has been a joy to use, and the double-sided printing has saved a lot of time and paper. Haven't used the fax yet, but expect no problem.
