If you loved the old original senseo you'll hate this one

A couple of improvements are bigger reservoir (still undersized), and shorter spout to fit normal size cups. Other than that I really wish I had my money back. The old style I have had 10+ years was the best coffee maker ever . It finally quit on me and I bought a new original XL. It looks similar from a distance is the only "original" thing. Please remake the old one, I miss my good coffee. This thing is barely better than a Keurig.
Pros: more water, fits normal cups
Cons: buy something else this is not the old great coffe, barely better than keurig, no foam, not as hot, bait and switch

My husband and I enjoy espresso and having the ability to get up each morning and make our own fresh Breve is awsome. We have even sharred a morning Breve with the Church staff and all of them have asked about our machine and we have told them how great it is. One of the great things is we can use the pods or ground our own coffee beans. Thank you, the product is wonderful. K L
Pros: two ways to make great coffee
Cons: it would be nice to be able to make a double

hate the new senseo coffee machine

why would you change a product that was perfect? one pod made a great cup of 8 oz coffee. Now you have to use 2 pods and that changes the taste significantly. I returned the coffee maker. The bigger water reservoir was good but didn't need to change anything else. Used my coffee maker for more than 5 years.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Fresh coffee fast - and love the "crema" on top!

I had never tried a product like this before, but the idea of not having to wait for water to heat in the microwave (my old single cup drip method), or wait for my coffee pot to make our morning coffee seemed really appealing.
I've had the Senseo for over a year, and really like it, as does my "where's my coffee I gotta hit the road" boyfriend. No more waiting around, no more cold coffee - it's ready when you are.
And the best part is the foam on top, which Senseo users call "crema". It adds a richness to the coffee that you can't get with traditional methods. The pods are easy to use - no more coffee grounds everywhere.
Couldn't be happier.
Pros: easy clean fast, great tasting coffee, if you feel ambitious you can make your own pods
Cons: a bit loud until you get used to it :-)

Great coffee maker, but needs more coffee brand options

This makes great coffee. I only wish we could use our favorite coffee with it--you have to use the senseo brand though. It's not bad, but it's not the best either.
Pros: easy to use and clean, small--good for apartment living
Cons: only one brand of coffee is available

Great single cup coffeemaker

With two coffee drinkers in the house, a single cup maker is perfect. You can make whatever variety you want fresh when you want it. No coordination, planning, crystal ball viewing, or waste.
The Senseo offers a good choice of coffee pod suppliers, is easy to clean, and has held up well to frequent use.
Pros: the steam "creme" on top.
Cons: even the adjustable model requires shorter cups
I would recommend this to a friend!
