Waste of money

It doesn't work. Just get a flash drive and send yourself the headache. Windows Vista and Windows 8.1 don't want to talk to each other using the belkin device.

Followed the instructions -the software and cable did all the work. A couple of cups of coffee and all my data was on the new computer in the same place it was on the old. Every thing transferred smoothly and quickly

Windows 8,1 won't transfer from XP

I specifically purchased this Bellkin cable with software because it said it would transfer files and programs from XP to Windows 8. I assumed 8 also meant 8.1. This doesn't seem to be the case. When I attempted to install the software on either of two new HP PCs with Windows 8.1, a message appeared that said Windows Easy Transfer was already installed on the PC and it would not let me install the Bellkin version from the CD. The message also said that Windows Easy Transfer would only transfer files from Windows 7, 8, or 8RT. I now have to see if I can return the Bellkin package for a refund.

I am not happy with this product or support help. I am not able to get it to work . I have tried several times to get my HP windows XP computer to transfer my files to my HP windows 8 computer with no success. Can't seem to find help support on line.

I was pleasantly surprised at how easy it was to transfer all my data and settings with this product. The instructions were very clear and easy to understand and it transferred things I had even forgotten I had on the old computer.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Was told this would migrate from VIsta to Window 8 but it did not work. Found out online that this is a known problem with this product. Wasted my money.

The package says you can transfer files from Windows XP to Windows 8.1 I tried several times and it didn't work. I now have to send it back and be told that I can't get a refund only a replacement.
