I forgot how pretty they look when they're clean!

I've used mine for over a year doing field survey in the forests of NW Oregon, and it dangles off of my pack and gets rolled around in duff, moss, and dirt. I usually get two days of survey off a charge and it holds up well even after being in a couple downpours.
Downsides:
The cover for the input jack doesn't stay in.
The split ring and "carabiner" both broke and have been replaced.
When crawling through brush the gesture thing is super annoying, it pauses, reverses and forwards your play back every time a leaf or branch brushes up against it. I just disable it.

Excelent device!

i bought this speaker waiting to be shock proof and it was! after several falls it is still working like new, is a ver tough device, it sounds excelent the only thing is that the battery dont last THAT much... but overall is a MUST HAVE

Cons: battery sould last longer

Will not charge! No voice even advising "1/2 way on battery"! Have had plugged in for a day, and, nothing! Very sad!
Pros: all features desired in waterproof bluetooth apwa
Cons: died too soon

Perfect for the Trail Bike

I purchased this product last week and it is the perfect companion for bicycling on the trails. I pop my iPod Touch into a pocket, bungee cord the Shoqbox SB7200 to the handle bars, choose a playlist and then off down the trail. Plenty of powerful sound, easy to adjust the volume with the large control while riding the bike and no wires to tangle. Have also used it paired up with my tablet computer as a sound source on the deck. It is a great speaker system!
Pros: nice and loud.
I would recommend this to a friend!

The Shoqbox failed after six months.

In the first month the Shoqbox would only speak to me in French.
The third month the Shoqbox would not not pair with any of my phones.
The fourth month the Shoqbox charged intermittently.
The sixth month the Shoqbox would not charge, turn on or function in any way.

hard to pair devices changes languages and is hard to switch back, battery never seemed to charge properly. and when it did play music it changed songs randomly because of the stupid motion sensor. dont buy, i just smashed my 60$ on the flood. hate it.

Not a Long Term Speaker

I have been using this speaker for more than a year now.
I have noticed a substantial drop in the output from the battery, so that I need to recharge frequently.
I have noticed a real problem with it dropping in an out of the blue tooth signal (even with the device in the same room) which screws up listening.
Good sound, hate the menu system, not a smart device so no way to update its aggravating problems..
Pros: sound
Cons: blue tooth, battery, not updatable, menus are annoying, weight
