Great Spatula -- but worried about the Black material and how its made

Great Spatula, especially for eggs
It says the material is Nylon (in the title and under the specification tab). I wonder if it contains and plastics which will leach out chemicals. Officially Nylon is a thermoplastic, but that does not tell me about the purity of the material in this product.
