Chemical smell

I was so excited for this sandwich set for my daughter, but when I opened the package it smelled so strongly of chemicals it burned my nose. There was no way I would ever give it to a kid to play with. So disappointing.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I would give this 5 stars for the look and concept, but my 2.5 year old just doesn't respond to the large, felt shapes as much as she does smaller, plastic play food items. I think it looks amazing. One drawback: it collects hair easily. Keep a lint roller handy.

Purchased for my granddaughter. Some of the foods are clever, tomato, lettuce, Swiss cheese but others are so plain that I could have made myself. The breads are to stiff, use softer felt.
