[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this a few days ago. After it was installed I printer two pages with color which were fine then the printer an HP Officejet Pro 6830 displayed a 'PRINTHEAD ERROR'. So was it the new cartridge or just time?
I would recommend this to a friend!

Hi, Mike.
I’m so sorry to hear that your printer stopped working after you installed the new print cartridge. I can see how that would be confusing. So, let’s see whether I can give you some helpful suggestions.
First, I recommend following this link to a troubleshooting document about printhead errors in printers of this series: - support.hp.com/us-en/document/c04839288
I can’t be sure what issues caused the error, so I suggest that you reach out to us so we can work through any necessary troubleshooting with you. We’re always here to help, so you can get in touch via your preferred method at this link: hp.com/contactHP
I'll also mention that HP printers have a one-year warranty from their purchase date that covers hardware as well as ink supplies, so you might consider making use of it. You can verify the warranty using the following link: support.hp.com/us-en/checkwarranty

No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Hello,
My apologies for this happening to you. With this type of printer, poor print quality of the colors is usually due to clogged nozzles in the printhead. They can be cleared by running the printhead cleaning from the printer's menu.
If it appears that the poor performance is due to a defect of the cartridge itself, the return and exchange process is covered, step-by-step, at: store.hp.com/us/en/cv/returnsandexchanges
