I have tried several products all of which just got more confusing the more I needed to use it, and didn't always protect me as expected. I have only had WebRoot for about a month but it seems to be all I expected it to be. Time will tell, especially at renewal.

It’s nice knowing this product is always working in the background. I also like the ability to tailor WebRoot to one’s specific needs. The only criticism I have is that their system is a bit off with renewing subscriptions. I renewed my subscription a couple months ago & received notification from WebRoot that my subscription is set to expire. I renewed for 2 years so the recent notification is very wrong. Please correct this error WebRoot.

I renewed my Webroot for another year and it checked all my files but it missed all the pop up videos that were happening behind my email. I finally got rid of them by applying Adaware. I thought your system should have been able to see them and get rid of them.

My previous product always appeared to be clumsy and intrusive. I followed up with reviews on the Internet. Webroot was recommended to my by on of my IT experts. The payment method, set up and access was easy and thus far I am very pleased with the behind the scenes reporting and the screen that appears upon accessing my computer. I have used Webroot for less than 2 months.

Good Deal from Lithania

While on a cycle touri in Lithuania I met Risto of Webroot sales. We discussed, amongst other things, Webroot and he sent me a trial password. I tried it and it is great! Works better than any of the other items I've ever used, and I don't have to even think about what is going on. I don't understand all the nuances, but there are far fewer attacks and bogus sites trying to hijack me including the "ransom" sites.
