Fast, light and efficient

never had my PC infected since i began to use webroot product. It does catch every menace and flag very few false positives. set it and forget it, so we can browse and download with peace of mind.

I have used it for years

I have used this product for many years, it's the only one that really keeps our computers and phones safe. It's easy to use and it's the only product we feel safe with using. It doesn't eat up all our storage.

Quit sending RENEW notifications!!!

Every time I use my laptop I get 3 or 4 pop ups to RENEW!!!!! No number to call or support for help

Is not as user friendly as the previous older versions to install and run. Slowed my PC down to a crawl. Not even sure if it is working.

Has functionality issues.

I installed the software and every time I start up my computer a Webroot window pops up and asks me it can make changes to my hard drive. I thought that maybe there was an install issue so I wanted to uninstall it and reinstall it. That was a nightmare because despite my having administrator rights the software kept telling me I could not uninstall it because I was not an administrator. I finally was able to uninstall the software and reinstall it. Unfortunately the issue remains, every time I start up my computer a Webroot window pops up and asks me it can make changes to my hard drive. Apparently I have to live with this until my subscription runs out and I can get another antivirus program.

WAY OUTDATED Updates

Geek Squad sent me the install link as a courtesy for the purchase of my new HP desktop. Well most of the "updates" are from 2016-2018. Sorry Chuck, but this is June 2021 so they are not current protection. I am not trusting outdated security software to protect my pricey investment.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
