I have used Webroot for several years with no problems. It runs in the background without slowing my pc down. If I run it manually, it completes very quickly and reports are clear and easy to understand. It issues warnings when needed when browsing, checking email, etc. Renewal process is simple and well worth the price for all the protection provided.
Have had Webroot Secure Anywhere on my PC's for over 5 years. I have not experienced any problems during that time except for a glitch now and then. Once in a while an annoying piece of malware seems to ride along with a website. This attached malware sometime later activates and displays messages that my PC is infected along with an irritating audible alarm, prompting me to click on a link to fix it. By the way, never do what it wants you to do. The only way to get rid of the thing is to press and hold the power on/off button until the PC shuts off and then power back on again. It would be nice if Webroot could detect this malware and block it from activating. Other than that, I am happy with Webroot so far. My PC's have not suffered any system damages since Webroot has been running on my them.
I'm a 88 year old female. I need my computer to communicate with my long distance friends and family. I've used Webroot for many years and have never had a problem with "bugs" attacking the system. Relieves the possibility of "stress". Young and OLD persons need reassurance that their computer system is/will be FREE from viruses.
