Didn’t catch my virus and free Mac program did!

Kind of annoyed I’ve got a virus or malware on my Mac so I re-bought webroot in a panic (mine had expired and I hadn’t renewed because it slows down my computer so much I usually quit the app). It didn’t catch my virus or malware so I researched and downloaded something free for mac’s and it caught it…for free. I wish I’d tried that first. I have it for a year and don’t even need it so I’m annoyed.

I obtained a copy of webroot, but thought I had not recived, but then ordered a 2nd copy and then received the 1st. installed the frist and then found out I had paid for the 2nd. I have the 2nd and can not use it.

I don't remember what it was, but the grandson would play his games the computer it would have continuous pop-ups until I had webroot installed. It stop almost immediately
