While looking for some instruction manuals the false Microsoft takeover occurred. It attempted to take over my system stating the lie a problem in my computer would corrupt their system. I had to cut the power to break the connection. When I restarted my computer Webroot had a alert stating a program was trying to take control of my computer. I chose the option to block it. Thank goodness Webroot was there for me.
