Good for PCs, but not for mobile devices

After purchasing it I am happy to announce that my Windows 10 PCS seem unaffected by and the performance in boot times are better than they were when I had ESET. However one of the reasons I purchased it was due to the need for cross-platform. This is not a great product if you're using it on Android or Apple devices in that it is not the same product. The Apple and Android components are simply a browser that is considered secure and locks you into using a specific browser so if you have a favorite say Chrome or Safari or whatever then your ability to use those is diminished because you are not secure. This product should be for Android and iOS devices more like the Windows 10 version that everybody expects IE all encompassing security on the device.

Was in the past, worried about now???

I renewed but my computer says I do not have security. How can I correct this? Every time I turn on my computer it has a message that my Webroot service has expired even though I renewed? I am glad I did not renew more than one year.

Don’t get along with Mac OS.

There’s some keyboard issues with Mac, and you obviously know about it, since I can read about as known issues ...
I have to shut down your software all the time, so 90 percent of the time it’s not running at all.

Save your money, this only gets in the way

After years of relying on Windows Defender, the IT guy at work guilt tripped me into installing webroot on a spare laptop I use for some work projects. The only thing it's done is get in the way of using the propitiatory software from my Fortune 500 employer that is essential to my work & flagging the online portals I need to use for work as untrustworthy.

I purchased webroot 1 year go and was satisfied with the performance. However, the renewal process has gone terribly wrong. I purchased the renewal on-line and it would not load. I wrote for help and a disk showed upon the mail. I loaded the disk and tried again to update Webroot. No luck. I have contacted Webroot technical support via their messaging site and of this writing have not gotten any response.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Worst protection I’ve experienced

For the 1st time since I’ve used Webroot my computer was hacked into right in front of my very eyes. The hacker deleted everything off of my computer. Went through all my pictures. I seen them scrolling through every album and clicking on certain pictures. Also got into my banking. I had to cancel all my bank accounts and credit cards as well as my investments. I haven’t been able to use my computer at all as I have to take it in to have cleaned out. So therefore I’m paying for a service that I cannot use.
