Great protection!

Great protection! This software does what it advertises and does not slow my computer down.

Thanks for your review! Webroot is by far the most lightweight antivirus solution on the market - no more RAM or CPU hogging to keep you protected. Glad you're finding that to be true!

disappointed

It was very easy to download, but unfortunately I started having issues with my laptop immediately. I was unable to print any sort of download, it would randomly close all of the tabs (and I wasn't able to recover them, had to re-look everything up), laptop would reboot itself randomly. I tried turning off certain aspects of the program but that didn't work so I uninstalled it. I was so disappointed - it looked like a great value and maybe if I was a "computer person" who could tweak things, maybe it would have worked?

Good product but I am sick of getting the reminders a month after I have paid and updated Webroot. I renewed on Oct 31 and I am still getting reminders. Makes me want to get something else next year.

I would say that the best antivirus solution is one that stays out of your way while you're protected. I can assure you that Webroot will continue keeping your computers protected even when you don't realize it!

4 and a third Stars

In the middle of another subscription, I bought Webroot out of frustration because the other product was too aggressive "protecting" me. So, I appreciate the way Webroot works: Good protection without a sacrifice of performance. I had to knock 2/3 stars off due to an almost daily notification that both Windows Defender and Webroot are off. They're not, and all research points to a bug between MS and Webroot. Each of course, claims innocence, or pending updates. Yes, it's quite simple to dismiss the notification, but one ongoing bug makes one believe another might be lurking, and the next one might not be so innocent.
I did NOT get the suite, due to my active subscription with the other product, and using this run as a test drive so to speak. At this point, I'm unsure if I'll upgrade when the other runs out. If the notification bug goes away, I probably will. If it doesn't... Who knows.
