Great protection with little to no adverse system impact

I've been using the Webroot AntiVirus package for a number of years now (can't remember how many, exactly, but it's 5+ for sure) and It's always served me well. The thing that attracted me most to the product was it's small footprint and minimal impact on system operation. Unless it's doing an update, I don't even know it's running. I also like that I can install the same license on 5 devices simultaneously and that I can control it's operation on any of those devices remotely from the Webroot web console. I will continue to happily use Webroot AntiVirus on my systems.

Used too much memory

I ended up uninstalling this program from my computer. It used too much memory and made my response time super slow. Once the program was gone, I was able to use my system again. I would like to know how to get a refund as I purchased a 5 user family plan and we will not be using this.

Best Relief!

Having WEBROOT, gives me the security that no one or nothing will be able to enter my computer maliciously. My son in law's business uses WEBROOT and he is the person that suggested I try it. I am very pleased and the price is reasonable. Thank you and keep up the good work!

We're sorry to hear that you've experienced problems loading our product. There are some handy posts on our Knowledge Base that should help you find your way through the process. There are two posts, one for PC users and the other for Mac users.
It's very light, and you hardly notice it working.
But you may still need an IT guy to do a proper virus/malaware manually. Hopefully WebRoot will get to a point of development where mannual cleanups won't be needed.
That's my hope & request.

Good Protection, some Issues after a Month

I got Webroot just over a month ago and up until this week i was loving it and was under the impressions it was the perfect antivirus for me. However about a month into my subscription i started to notice the space on my SSD, where i install windows and some other programs that won't take up a lot of data, was very quickly running out. After a quick investigation i found that Webroot was saving Database files onto my hard drive that took up huge amount of space. By the time i caught this the program had already saved over 45 GBs of data. It looks like there is still no fix to this, however i was able to find a work around by turning the program off and delete these files manually.
This is a minor hassle for someone like me that is in the IT industry, but for somebody that is not so tech savvy or looking for an antivirus they can install and not have to worry about until it detects an issue may see this as a deal breaker. The fact that this issue has been noted for sometime and it is still not fixed is also quite alarming. If a fix were to be issued for this i would definitely recommend this to any user and give it a 5 star review.
