Most likely the best on the market

It's very light, and you hardly notice it working.
But you may still need an IT guy to do a proper virus/malaware manually. Hopefully WebRoot will get to a point of development where mannual cleanups won't be needed.
That's my hope & request.

Good Protection, some Issues after a Month

I got Webroot just over a month ago and up until this week i was loving it and was under the impressions it was the perfect antivirus for me. However about a month into my subscription i started to notice the space on my SSD, where i install windows and some other programs that won't take up a lot of data, was very quickly running out. After a quick investigation i found that Webroot was saving Database files onto my hard drive that took up huge amount of space. By the time i caught this the program had already saved over 45 GBs of data. It looks like there is still no fix to this, however i was able to find a work around by turning the program off and delete these files manually.
This is a minor hassle for someone like me that is in the IT industry, but for somebody that is not so tech savvy or looking for an antivirus they can install and not have to worry about until it detects an issue may see this as a deal breaker. The fact that this issue has been noted for sometime and it is still not fixed is also quite alarming. If a fix were to be issued for this i would definitely recommend this to any user and give it a 5 star review.

Peace of mind.

I while ago the company where I work for was attacked by malware. The threat was reasonably soon detected (few hours after the fact) by our network manager and it was contained to 6 (out of the roughly 320) computers. Despite his quick action, it took us many days of downtime and costs were about $30000.- CAD paid to security advisors who were flown in and came on site to clean our system.
That gave me a pretty good scare. I need my computer for a living. I feel a lot more secure with Webroot and I love the training they offer to make employees aware of threats like fishing emails etc. Webroot means peace of mind for me.

I have only had Webroot Anti-Virus for a little over a month now. Everything is working wonderfully . I have dial-up internet service and Webroot has not hampered or altered my service in any way; in fact my connection is the best it has been for a long time. Webroot was very easy to install, the process was flawless. I cannot speak for the Anti-Virus service as it has been too short of a time period, as of now there are no problems. I have had a variety of Anti-Virus's over the years and this connection works very well. I am almost afraid of posting this for fear of jinxing this situation.
