Ordered Webroot on line, it downloaded ok but the old Webroot remains and tells me everyday it is expired and need to renew ? It will run and check out the computer?

Webroot Antivirus was recommended when I took my ill-behaving PC for service. My only source of protection at the time was MS Defender which had worked well until it decided not to allow downloading anything but Windows applications. In other words, not even legitimate and paid third-party software would download or get upgraded. I appreciate the fact that MS needs to tighten security, but MS applications are not the only ones I use.
After installing Webroot in September of 2018, the downloading and broken path issues have been resolved. Webroot quietly runs in the background without taxing the speed and efficiency of my PCs and produces clean reports. The interface is clean and simple and the manual scans (if I get the urge) are fast and painless.
Compared to some well-known Antivirus software I have used in the past, Webroot is the least intrusive. Very impressive!

I'M NOT A PC EXPERT, BUT I'VE USED A NUMBER OF ANTI VIRUS SOFTWARES OVER SEVERAL YEARS. THIS APPEARS TO BE AMONG THE BEST. IT WORKS IN BACKGROUND AND GIVES AN EXHAUSTIVE COMPREHENSIVE ACCOUNT OF THE SCAN RESULTS.
