Great AV product

Recently bought my first windows laptop in about 15 years and did some research on AV software. Webroot was at the top of the lists I read so made the purchase. Easy to install, light on resources and according to tests, has good detection rates. Winner in my book!

Satisfactory, But Not Without Shortcomings

Product seems to have caught and killed a couple of malicious files but I have no way of ascertaining whether it has detected them all. Annoyingly, Webroot SecureAnywhere AntiVirus identifies each running of my backup software as a threat, although I have tried to prevent this. Since by backup program runs several times per day this has become annoying.

Protection worth its cost.

I like that it runs in the background and doesn't slow down my laptop! Also, I can have it scan at anytime, night or day. When I purchased my HP the store talked me into purchasing McAfee. We have Webroot on our Dell all in one, and have renewed it. When the McAfee subscription ran out, I went back to Webroot, and will keep it for good this time. I have owned Webroot on the HP for less than 6-months, but on the Dell, over 5-years.
