In all the years of me having to use Webroot as a primary form of protection on my computer I would have to say is one of the easiest to use softwares to protect your computer. It's proactive antivirus makes keeping your computer easier than ever you install it and it does the work for you behind the scenes never interfering with what you are currently doing. You can get a subscription for a total of 3 years which is well worth the money that you would pay. The only thing I would like to see be improved is that you could get a Webroot subscription for five years.

Less performance impact than other products I tried

I was using another antivirus product and I was really annoyed by the impact on performance it gave me. Looking at online reviews, which suggested Webroot, I tried it and found that it was a lot less impact than the product I had before.

Compared to my previous anti-virus programs, Webroot Secure/Anywhere runs so unobtrusively in the background and uses so little system memory, I check it now and then just to make sure it's still up and running. I could not be more pleased.

Been with WEBROOT for 14 years, I won't trust any other program. It's basically a install and forget program, it takes care of the rest for you.

First Time User

As a first time user I was very impressed with the ease of installing Webroot on my laptop. Instructions for downloading, installing and activating the product were so clear and precise that even a computer "dummy" like me had no problem doing it. This was a refreshing change from the product I was usually previously where I had to seek professional help at a cost to do the installation.
Immediately upon installing Webroot it went to work checking all my files to ensure that they were virus free. Subsequently, every time I sign on to my laptop Webroot checks again to see that no virus has infected any of my files. When there are suspicious files or new devices I am installing. Webroot informs me how to proceed.
Finally, I was very pleased with the realistically low price of Webroot protection. I was offered and took basic protection whereas my previous company was continuously trying to get me to buy additional information that I really didn't need. I have been recommending Webroot enthusiastically to family and friends as it had been recommended to me.

I feel secure with my Webroot AntiVirus protection

I have been a very satisfied Webroot AntiVirus customer of Webroot for the past 3 years. During that time I have not had any virus problems on my laptop computer. I also like the Scan feature that you can use at any time just to check and make sure that you are free of any viruses; the Scan tells you if any have been removed.
Just some suggestions to Webroot. They have some higher priced protection products. I would have considered upgrading to one of them if they explained the benefits of these higher cost products to me. They also sent me a Webroot disc, which has no explanation about what it is for. I'm assuming that it will enable me to reload my Webroot product directly onto my computer, but there doesn't appear to be any explanation on the disc envelope.
Other than those small items, I am a very satisfied customer.

Peace of mind

I have used Webroot for about ten years. I judge its effectiveness by the fact I have not had any contamination of my products and my banking has been secure.
