Good but check your scan results

I have had this product for several years on all my computers. It is a good antivirus, maybe too good because it quarantines my apps like driver scanner (which I have paid for). A lot of my legit programs are recognized as viruses. Why? After every scan I have to check the log and restore my apps. What a pain! Not everything is a virus, Webroot. I know I can make exceptions to the quarantine list, but it's not that easy.

Simple and effective anti-virus

No complaints about their service and not only do they offer cheap enough anti-virus protection, but it doesnt even take up much space and its scans are the fastest ive seen. Only thing i dont understand is the "time sensitive material" of a disc that they sent me, AFTER i had already downloaded the software necessary, and i cant even get my disc reader to recognize it. its like they sent a blank disc. other than that weirdness, no real downsides to these guys.

Great protection and peace of mind.

My daughter recommended Webroot as protection from identity theft and other hazzards of using the internet. I had been very disappointed in the other cyber security products I have used in the past but Webroot has proven to be very effective at protecting my computer from these dangerous cyber attacks.

Best antivirus protection out there!

I've had several antivirus programs over the years, but Webroot has provided the best, most comprehensive protection. It's excellent at spotting suspicious websites and malicious code, and it doesn't interfere with the operation of my computer or other programs.

I have been a user of this software for over 20 years when many other platforms have come and gone Webroot stands tall like a rock. I used to have a computer store we installed over 100 webroots a week many of those customers still use this product. and I will remain a loyal customer forever. thanks you guys so much you protect my data everyday.

Great protection but....

We have never had a virus on our pc's since we started using Webroot several years ago. However, their new renewal process was very offputting. A pop up screen came up stating renew now or cancel. No way to minimize, remind me in an hour, click on anything else on the computer. I felt this was very aggressive and would have liked to have been able to finish what I was doing then go back to the Webroot page. Nope. I renewed this time but will not in the future with this aggressive tactic.

Excellent protection

I was a three year customer. I strayed away for a couple of months, using "free" stuff, but got a virus. If you use a "Host" file and update it, be sure to check the setting in "Shields" in Advanced Settings"; the file is protected by default.
