Several years ago, while using a different Virus Protection, my computer was infected by a nasty Bug, and I lost several short stories and part of books I have been writing for 10 years. Since I started using Webroot, 5 or 6 years ago, I have never had a problem like that again. All of mine and my wife's computers have Webroot on them now. Well done WEBROOT, and thanks. POP-UP MAGNET

THE WORLDS WORST FOR POP-UPS. IT DOES NOT FILTER OUT ANY AND SEEMS TO BE BRINGING IN SOME OF ITS OWN. I AM USING 3 THIRD PARTY APPS TO FILTER THEM OUT. STILL GET SOME BUT NOT NEARLY AS MANY. BE AWARE OF THIS BEFORE YOU BUY!

Webroot SecureAnywhere only blocks malicious pop-ups. It will block and remove any pop-ups that attempt to infect your computer or are caused by an infection. However, many sites do have their own pop-ups which are not threats. If you do not want to see these, you can change the settings in your browser to block them. Automated security

Webroot is fast and appears to offer good protection
I find it far too automated for me - it is extremely difficult to handle things like false positives, infections are removed without asking and it is so hard to find what files were affected or what actions were taken. The use of logging is beyond my comprehension
