POP-UP MAGNET

THE WORLDS WORST FOR POP-UPS. IT DOES NOT FILTER OUT ANY AND SEEMS TO BE BRINGING IN SOME OF ITS OWN. I AM USING 3 THIRD PARTY APPS TO FILTER THEM OUT. STILL GET SOME BUT NOT NEARLY AS MANY. BE AWARE OF THIS BEFORE YOU BUY!

Webroot SecureAnywhere only blocks malicious pop-ups. It will block and remove any pop-ups that attempt to infect your computer or are caused by an infection. However, many sites do have their own pop-ups which are not threats. If you do not want to see these, you can change the settings in your browser to block them. Automated security

Webroot is fast and appears to offer good protection
I find it far too automated for me - it is extremely difficult to handle things like false positives, infections are removed without asking and it is so hard to find what files were affected or what actions were taken. The use of logging is beyond my comprehension

Only computer protection I'll ever own

I've had Webroot for over 10 years now. Only had ransomware once and was talked through the procedure to correct over the phone. I was back in operation within a half hour. That was 7 years ago and with a new version of ransomware.
I've always been impressed with Webroot and have 3 computers (two laptops and 1 PC) covered all the time even when I've bought new computers.
