Might be the best looking Marshall product I've ever seen, personally. The purple is perfect. Match that with the sound being as good as it has ever been.

The Hendrix Acton III Bluetooth speaker has great sound and yes, adequate volume (despite some reviews I've read to the contrary – even for my studio, which is fairly large). I keep it under 90 db or my phone app scolds me, and I still have a couple of clicks left on the volume.
The soundstage is narrow-ish so it needs to be at ear level and pointed at you for the sweet spot; then, it sounds wonderful - all the nuances of the recordings are there.
Volume, etc. are not controllable remotely, but that’s not a problem for me and the physical controls are very solid-feeling and attractive with pleasant purple LEDs that light in sequence as you turn them up. The case is striking in its design. Overall, it is beautiful and worth the price of admission, imo. Although it is not available at a discount as the other styles are - and those are certainly classy-looking, this Hendrix tribute model is unique and special in its own way.
When you turn it on or off, it plays a short Jimi lick – very cool. I find myself smiling when I listen to a song that just popped into my head and find it on my iPhone (my wife bought me a subscription to Spotify for my birthday). Besides using it for Bluetooth capability, I have a 3. 5 mm aux cable running from my large, stereo TV and it improves the sound tremendously.

This is a very well done makeover for the Acton III. The velvet covering really pops in contrast with the black and purple swirled grill cloth. The purple lights for the control knobs are a nice touch as well. Even the box it comes in is cool. The sound is well balanced and quite loud for its size.
