I've used the Nomad 13 solar panel in Southern California and in Massachusetts. No bang for the buck... an inefficient product. My [other mfg] 15W panel outperforms the Nomad 13. GoalZero has proprietary connectors, so I cannot purchase a better, non-GoalZero panel to use without knowing how to configure the wires/connector. I've abandoned the Nomad 13, now charging my Yeti 150 with my off-the-grid DIY solar energy storage system.

This product worked fine the first 60 days. Now it will not charge any of my goal zero products.

It would appear that there may be a defect in the product. We do have a ONE YEAR warranty, Please contact us by phone or email so we can trouble shoot and get everything running!

Could not charge my I-pad,fast with charging battery packs and used my battery pack to charge my cell phone in my pocket, as such I always had my phone with me instead of sitting on a table for a charge. Used it at the BSA Jamboree

I am a Amateur Radio Operator (Ham) and having a portable device that can give you extra power out in the field is tremendous.

I purchase the works; solar panel, inverter, guide 10 and broke down, quit, kapute. I would not recommend this stuff to anyone!

I bought this for my EBC trek. With the intention of charging my ipad/pod. On a cloudless day at EBC with the sun at its zenith, the panel slowly charged the ipod and flat out refused to charge my ipad or fellow hikers smart phones.
I have used this product extensively since I have received it and it works great. I mostly use it when I am Hiking to keep my cell phone charged, but I also use it to charge the batteries on my DSLR camera.
I have bought a few different goal zero products, what I found is they don't live up to what goal zero says they will do. charging time are longer, and use time is shorter. With that I bought the Sherpa 100. light enough to backpack with, yet should last me a week of charging phones, cameras, and lights
