The Dirtiest Oven

This range might be smudge proof, but the stove top and the inside of the oven are IMPOSSIBLE to clean. I only use electric ranges, and this one has food residue stick to the top like none other. But thats not the worst part. Within the first week or two of use, liquid dripped down into the front glass panel, in between the 2 panes. There is no way to get in there to clean it without taking the oven apart. So now, I have a perpetually dirty oven. I frequently have guests over and I can clean as hard as I can but my kitchen always looks dirty now because of this filthy oven. Of course, I contacted frigidaire after a month of use, and all they did is send me a manual on how to take the oven apart to clean it. Yeah right! Another, smaller issue I have is that the large burners are in the front of the range and the small ones are in the back-a poor design you don't realize until you have a large pot of soup in the front and try to cook anything else that day. Do yourself a favor and buy a different range. I have no idea if this happens to other models, so this is the last time I buy Frigidaire.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

The stove I've always dreamed of

This is the stove I have wanted for years. I love the fifth burner for warming. The thing looks beautiful , the burners heat fast and even. The oven is spot on for temperature, and the self cleaning function is terrific. Cleaning the top is a snap with finish it has. Not sure I can say enough nice things about this unit.

my new stove

I bought this stove 2 months ago and so far so good! I cooked my thanksgiving turkey in it and have used all the burners. The turkey cooked evenly and the oven is very well insulated. Not a ton of heat loss like my old stove. Hours after it was off the heat was still holding. Very impressed with the energy savings of that. The quick boil burner works extremely fast as I expected a quick boil to do. The glasstop is like all glass tops. It needs to be cleaned quickly to keep spilled crumbs from hardening but that's expected as well. I'm happy with the stove so far!

Nice stove just DONT USE TIN FOIL!!

Nice looking stove, works great, cool features. Only warning is do not use tin foil to line the bottom of the stove. Unfortunately I did and it melted to the bottom and I had to replace the bottom panel. It was brand new, never been used. What a bummer. There needs to be a warning sticker for the consumer to remove. Other than that I would recommend to a friend.

Great Stove!

We purchased the full kitchen of smudge free appliances. Very easy to keep clean. Only comment is that sales people should notify customer about the hidden element in the over and not to put foil down to catch drips. I did and ruined the bottom of the stove. Would recommend a sticker on the door as a warning!

I bought this this back in February and this is a beautiful stove so many functions and non smudge stainless steel. we have used the quick bake function this will save you time in getting the perfect pizza crust. no more underdone baked goods the range is amazing quick boil works in about 1-2 minutes for those late night cup of teas very convenient. the only problem so far is the temp probe beeps sporadically for no reason.

quick cooking, easy cleaning

I purchased this online with free shipping and no tax. I thought it was the same as one I had owned previously in another home, but it's not. I love Frigidaire for their quality products at an economic price.
The only issue that I have had is when putting it on the quick bake setting, it will burn or dry out the top of the food even when setting the temperature lower. Since I've only had it a few weeks, I am confident it is just a matter of getting accustomed to the new settings.
I am completely satisfied with the product.

I'm so pleased with the many features of my new stove..from the keep warm burner, to the variable pan size burners, to the programmable meat thermometer and recessed heating coil in the oven, this stove is a cook's dream!
