I was ready for some new devices!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased the new Galaxy s26 ultra when it went on presale. Not only did I get the handset I also got the Galaxy buds pro. I chose these products because I have been loyal to the Samsung brand for over a decade now. I also purchased the Galaxy watch ultra 2 when that went on presale. That was an upgrade from the Galaxy watch 4 pro. I chose all of these devices due to the high standards that Samsung has. One of the best features is Galaxy AI! I live how it is integrated across all of my new devices. It makes everything so much easier to control any device at anytime. I can tell my watch to do something and it will at it to my watch and vice versa. The bigger battery in the watch ultra 2 is ridiculous! My old watch I to charge it every 12 hours or so, with the watch ultra 2 I can wear it for a hood 3 days or so with all the health info turned on! the new health features are fantastic as well. I love all the info I get when I wake up each morning, such a great help! I can't wait to see what kind of updates will come to make these devices even better!

I chose Samsung because I wanted a device that could handle everything I use it for without slowing me down. So far, I’ve been really impressed with the overall experience. The display is bright and sharp, everything feels smooth and responsive, and the features are easy to learn and actually useful.
I use my Samsung for pretty much everything—streaming shows and videos, browsing the web, social media, taking photos, staying connected, and handling everyday tasks. The performance has been reliable, and I really like how well everything works together.
Samsung has done a great job making the device feel powerful without making it complicated. I’m still discovering some of the features, but I’m already very happy with my choice and would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a dependable, feature-packed device.

Loving the New S26 Ultra

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After much deliberation and reviews , I was on the fence if I wanted to go with the S26 Ultra or the Google Pixel 11 Pro. I have been using Samsung Phones (Note20, S22 Ultra, S 23 Ultra) for my last 3 phones. I was leaning on the Pixel (for something different) but at last moment, I chose the S26 Ultra. I'm very pleased with my decision and this model feels like a step into the future. Unbelievable photo stability and onboard AI edits are ridiculous, I'm still experimenting with the camera features but photos are stabilized and and the 5X telephoto lens makes my pictures appear sharper and warmer (even in low light). The Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 is a game changer. Battery life has been outstanding, which has been a criticism of my other S-Ultra phones, but they got this right, and it supports 60W charging which is fantastic. I'm a big fan of the S-Series S-pens (I have big hands) and some people say it feels cheaper and complain about the asymmetrical design, but I'm happy with it (feels crisper) but I skipped the S25U so maybe not the guy to ask. They have also introduced a privacy display function that protects your information when checking out at the store (slight angle and screen is invisible to people with bad intent).
This phone is so much lighter and thinner with rounded edges making it very comfortable to carry. Lastly, as a backpacker that goes into the deep wilds, this can communicate with satellites to send a SOS and GPS location which is a big plus for me.

The S26 Ultra was my top choice

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It was time to replace my S21 Ultra. The security updates are the main reason. That and the rugged nature of the S21 Ultra holding up time after time from drops and the glass being extremely tough. My S21 Ultra was and still is a great device. But it makes zero sense to use a phone without security updates. So I chose the S26 Ultra thanks to the great experience I had with my S21 Ultra. I wanted a smooth transfer to a device I could count on (hopefully), with a very short get to know you curve.
The phone is roughly the same size as the S21 Ultra. There is a difference in that the cameras on the S26 Ultra protrude and thus the device will not lie flat. It doesn't seem to be an issue so far. I am impressed by the processing power, the smooth surface interface that is reportedly hard to see from an angle (privacy). I have not engaged this yet.
The Smart Switch would not transfer data wirelessly so I used a cable. Some apps would not transfer and the entire process of resubmitting passwords and setting them up is tedious but a necessary security must. The SIM chip I took out of the S21 Ultra had a definite learning curve in the S26 Ultra. It would not show an internet connection on Wi-Fi or Mobile data for at least three hours. It did start working the day after I received it.
I do like the fact that they offer the choice of signing for the package. There is zero chance I would buy an expensive device and not do so. It was delivered on time.

Love my phone

I love how smooth it runs and all the new features that my old phone didn't have. Every day I'm learning something new about the phone and i am loving it.
