Great speaker and lantern combo

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The jbl pulse 6 is the coolest speaker in my collection to date it's like a little lantern that also makes noise the sound quality is as excellent as expected from jbl the battery life is great with only needing a couple charges a week for use when outside

Epic sound, gorgeous lights, long battery life

The sound is phenomenal: loud, clean, has strong bass, and instruments like guitar, violin, piano, drums, and vocals sound crystal clear. I don’t usually need to turn it up all of the way unless I’m outside and far away. It’s very sturdy and a bit heavy, so it’s clearly great quality. The battery lasts forever—I will use it for days and eventually just charge it up just in case. I love the light display and the option to turn it off to save battery and be a little more subtle. The buttons are easy to understand. Just keep it upright so the bass doesn’t touch anything and get the sound distorted. You’ll be so glad you got this speaker!

Fun, fantastic portable speaker

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great portable speaker! First off, this is not something you can clip onto your backpack, it’s more for an outdoor patio or nightstand. Or something you pack in your car to take somewhere. It’s definitely a few lbs, but the handle and build feel very substantial and durable. We love that it’s designed to withstand water and dust.
The JBL app allows you to control the light show it also has a cool feature that plays ambient background noise, like ocean or forest or fire, etc. Because of that we actually have the speaker parked in our bathroom. We use it to play music when we’re getting ready and we turn on ambient sounds when we have guests over.
The sound quality is amazing, it packs great bass. Really pleased with how it performs.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great looking speaker with sound to match.I love the aesthetic of it's very high quality materials.You can choose from many different styles of lights to lift your mood or a relaxing tranquil color.I use it while sipping a drink in my kitchen and enjoy the tunes and lights.Sounds amazing and you can tweak sound from app with EQ.You can add other compatible speakers also for surround or stereo sound.The handle is very sturdy.On that note I wish it was retractable to make it little smaller to travel with.Overall it's great addition to my speaker collection and this one serves its purpose.

Lights are amazing and fun

The battery life is exceptional for a speaker its size. Very low maintenance great quality sound you would expect from JBL. Very well priced for an easy on the go speaker. My grandkids can’t get enough of the lights. Easy connectivity and pairs with other JBL speakers flawlessly.

Awesome lighting

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Alright to start off, the size, weight and feel of the speaker physically are outstanding. Very high quality feel. What you would expect from JBL. It is an improvement over the Pulse 5 with the newly added handle vs. the strap that used to be present.
Let’s talk about the lights! The light modes are exceptional so many options and they can be customized as well! Well done. Also the light can be used as a table lamp/night light. Well thought out! The light on the handle can be turned off in certain cases too. Excellent design.
Now, the sound. This is a speaker that I didn’t have huge expectations for sound wise just based on the size and I am basically comparing it to a Partybox 520 and Party Box On the Go 2. I can happily say this speaker out performs my expectations on sound. It sounds amazing, super clear and loud, no distortion.
The bass holds its own, I want to see how it does on a variety of surfaces but believe it will perform best on hard surfaces.
Price wise, this does come with a premium dollar value on it, so I could see people turning away from it for that reason.
Overall I would rate this as a buy if you’d like a lighted speaker with JBL sound quality and very solid connectivity.
