Lightweight and works great!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a great vacuum! The handle is the heaviest part, but it's overall really light weight. It has a weird feel because the roller is a hard plastic and a stiff brush, but it actually picks up crumbs and dog hair really well without tossing it around the floor. The bendable feature is really nice and the vacuum head is just small enough to reach under my couch! The real MVP is the light. Whatever it is and how it's positioned show you how dirty your floors really are. I have light tile and was kinda shocked when I turned in the light (I have a picture of the exact same spot on my floor with and without the light on, see for yourself!).

It just works

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We'd been looking for a new vacuum for a while as our old one was getting worn out from years of use when we found a great deal on this Shark. Super convenient, light weight. Love the fact that you can pivot the handle to slide under furniture without having to stoop. Battery lasts for several sessions in our moderate sized house. Easy to clean and store. Does well with our dog's hair as well.

Lightweight

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Let me preface this by saying I’ve been using Shark vacuums since 2008, I currently have 6 products, including this one. What can I say, I like what I like. This is a great cordless lightweight vacuum coming in at around 7 pounds. Measuring around 44” overall in height & 26” when folded. That’s such a great feature as it takes up less space and can stand on its own accord (whilst folded, it doesn’t when it’s fully upright.
It cleans bare floors, rugs, and carpets with no effort. It automatically detects the flooring type, which then chooses the suction and speed of the brushroll. I leave it in auto mode, although it has an eco & a power boost mode. The brushroll also features self-cleaning, I haven’t had to remove any hair from being stuck around the roll, it’s just not there due to the design of the roll and head unit. This is unheard of with dogs, cats, a household that has several long haired people. This saves me so much time and allows for me to have cleaner floors as the brush isn’t full of hair.
The light illuminates the area in front of the vacuum, making it a bit easier to see all the dirt. Having said that, it’s a white light so it’s a bit harder for me to see when it’s really sunny.
The MultiFlex design allows you to angle the shaft of the vacuum to better fit under furniture whilst still being able to stand fully upright.
I did find it lacking in performance when it comes to cleaning of the edges. I know I can use the nozzle tool, and I do, but I’d prefer if the vacuum could clean those areas a bit better without me having to do that every time. The floor head is about 10” but with the housing and everything, it’s more like 8.5” of useable suction power, so it doesn’t get to the edges.
The device can be used in a handheld mode, measuring about 14” with no tool attached. It’s around 25” with the crevice tool. And 20” with the upholstery tool. The upholstery tool is rather wide, great for flat surfaces (couch cushions, chairs, ottomans). It’s not great on uneven surfaces, especially those more shallow like the top of my back cushions, the back couch rail, or the curved arms of my couch- it’s just too wide for those areas.
I do wonder about the longevity of the hose being as you fold to store and the MultiFlex, only time will tell.

Really good but some things to consider

I got the Power Detect (without Clean & Empty. I wish I would have known that it does not stand on its own I would have upgraded as this is an important feature. The things I love- Love the lights- I can’t say this enough- it’s a game changer (I wish I still had the lights when I change crevice tools), love that it’s cordless, love the suction . Things I dislike: it doesn’t stand on its own (very disappointing - it would be so much better functioning if it was able to stand on its own), it’s a bit heavy but not too bad, when I change the crevice tool, I no longer have the light so I can’t see if I got all the dirt. Please make a double light so we can use with crevice tool.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is an excellent vacuum - it's light, powerful and packed with useful features. It easily maneuvers on carpet, hardwood and tile. The auto-detect for the power level and the beater bar attachment work well - the floor head turns on almost as soon as it reaches carpet and turns off when you go back to a solid surface. When you encounter more substantial dirt, the power level increases. The vacuum even folds in half to get under couches and beds. The cleaning power is very good and the light that projects on the ground is really useful, although it's a little disturbing how much dirt it's constantly illuminating. The battery is excellent and is extended by the variable power. I'm very pleased with the performance, design, and features.

Amazing tech.. I think this is the best portable vacuum from you guys yet. Out last portable vacum lasted 7 years... and we use them every day!!.. and that is great! Glad we go this new one.
