We’re glad to hear that you’ve been able to catch the temperature changes before any food was lost, but we’re sorry to hear about the freezer periodically warming up, the difficulty with the door staying closed, and the alarm not being loud enough for your garage. We understand how concerning it is to have to monitor a relatively new freezer so closely.

As a basic troubleshooting step, please make sure the freezer is properly leveled and that nothing inside is preventing the door from closing and sealing completely. Check the door gasket for any debris, damage, or areas that may prevent a proper seal. Also, make sure the unit has adequate clearance around it and that the garage temperature remains within the recommended operating range. If the freezer warms up again, note the temperature and any alarm activity to share with the service team.
