Doesn’t clean dishes

The dishwasher looks beautiful and is quiet but it doesn’t clean dishes at all. Even the cascade pods that it recommends using leave half the pod in the dishwasher. We clean the filter extremely regularly - like 10x more than our old cheap one and it still doesn’t clean our dishes

We want to offer tips that can help out with the cleaning performance for your unit. We first recommend making sure your inlet water temperature is reaching 120°F at minimum, as this will help the detergent and food residue fully dissolve. You will also want to check your inlet water pressure is reaching 20 to 120 PSI. We love this dishwasher. Our dishes look brand new. Pan bottoms look brand new. The seemingly unlimited ways to customize rack height & configuration is phenomenal. It performs magic, silently.

Hard to operate

This dishwasher is hard to operate. The buttons are difficult to engage. The soap dispenser doesn’t work after it was installed waiting for new parts. It was fitted crooked in its space and the door hits the cabinet. Not happy.

We'd like to help out with the touch controls not being responsive and with the dispenser. We first recommend trying an electronic reset, which can be done by shutting off power at the dedicated breaker for 2-3 minutes, then powering it back on. It's also important to remember that certain controls won't operate when the door is open. Leaked from day one - waiting 3 weeks for service

Our dishwasher is attractive, but leaked from the very first day. We called our plumber, thinking it was a connection issue with the pipes, but he found that the seal in the back right corner of the machine is faulty. It will be three weeks before a GE service person can repair this brand new dishwasher. Terrible service!

Very quiet!

So quiet that I had to look at the lights to make sure it was actually running the first time I used it. Would be nice if the interior was lighted but not a necessity.

Waste of money

Don’t waste your money, dishes remain dirty after 3 hour wash cycle! Top grate contains to slide all the way out where it has dishes or not! Rebalanced it after “professional GE installation” same result. Baskets are PLASTIC and very low quality, waiting for them to break! Beyond disappointed! Only got this one because I have other quality Cafe appliances which are fantastic. Dishwasher is not worth the premium price for a cafe appliances!!
