[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Bissell PowerClean Dualbrush has many great options for a cleaning up a variety of pet and toddler messes. As a mom of two toddlers, one dog, and one cat, there is always a mess somewhere in my house. Whether it be crumbs, dirt, or pet hair, I always need a stick vac nearby. This vacuum sucked up the majority of everything on my floors on any given day. There did seem to be a few times that the AutoAdapt technology did not kick in properly, leaving a crumb, or a few stray dog hairs behind. When this function did work properly, it was awesome! The vacuum would power up and give extra suction when needed. The self standing feature is so convenient, because you can easily stop in the middle of vacuuming to move furniture or pick up toys without worrying about the vacuum falling over. I did find the head of the vacuum to be a bit too large to be able to get into corners as well as my other stick vacuum, but the larger size is due to the dual brushes. The fur finder attachment is a life saver for cleaning the dog hair off any upholstery. The amount of hair it sucks out of my couch cushions is wildly satisfying. Overall, as a mom of humans and fur babies, I would recommend this stick vacuum from Bissell.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Thanks for sharing your feedback. We’re glad to hear it’s handling everyday messes well and that features like the self-standing design and FurFinder tool have been helpful. We understand the challenges with AutoAdapt consistency and getting into tighter spaces, and we appreciate you calling that out. Your insights are valuable and will be shared with our team.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] For a truly hassle-free cleaning experience, check out the Bissell PowerClean DualBrush. Here is a look at why this specific style of easy, self-standing vacuum is a game-changer for everyday messes.
It delivers impressive suction for its size, effortlessly pulling embedded pet hair, cereal, and daily dust from both hard floors and carpeted areas. I really enjoyed using the vacuum on my staircase because it was light and pulled up all of the hair out of the cracks. Having a household with 2 dogs and 3 indoor cats along with 2 kids I will be definitely using this all of the time!
If you are looking for a grab-and-go cleaning device that won't strain your back and stands up on its own when you need to walk away, this self-standing mobile vacuum is an absolute must-have. It beautifully balances lightweight convenience with the power needed to keep your home spotless.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this vacuum in order to provide an authentic review. Right away, I liked the sleek look of this vacuum. We have a toddler, large dog, and a cat, so there is plenty of work to be done when it comes to keeping the floors clean.
The very first time I used this vacuum, I noticed the effectiveness of the dual brushes when getting right up to a 90 degree angle (ex// where the floor meets the baseboard), it leaves no speck of grit or hair which I love. One pass and everything is gone. The other feature of this vacuum that I especially like it’s its auto-adjusting depending on the mess. When I vacuum around the litter box, or inside our entryway where there is a lot of dirt, the vacuum kicks into a higher gear all on its own, so I know it’s getting all the debris in that area. The lights are extremely helpful in showing the grit and hair so that you can be sure you got it all, which is particularly helpful on hard floors. The upholstery tool and crevice tools are helpful to get all the mess in one room, no matter where it is. I also cannot say enough about how easy it is to pop the canister off to quickly empty, takes only seconds. Depending on the mess, I may have to empty the canister a couple times, but I have found the battery lasts through the whole main level of our home which includes 3 bedrooms, a living room, kitchen, dining room, and play room!
The only reason I’m not giving 5 stars is that I was a little surprised that the dual brushes were not able to loosen up some small things stuck to the floor, like grains of quinoa, or small bits of mud. Between the two textures of the brushes, I was hoping that they’d be able to get those up. It’s not a huge deal to quickly loosen them manually, but that is the only complaint I have! This vacuum is a great option to have on hand for quick pick-ups, or keeping in an area of the home that’s inconvenient to drag a full vacuum to (like an upper or lower story). We definitely intend to keep it on hand!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Bissell PowerClean DualBrush is a great everyday vacuum for your typical messes like crumbs, mild pet hair, larger debris, and outside dirt that was tracked inside. Occasionally with larger messes, I have to go over the area with a few passes in order to clean up everything. The AutoAdapt technology was super handy! It would intuitively recognize when you needed more power and automatically kick into a higher suction, such as on carpets, floor runners, and rugs. The self standing design is a bonus; I don’t have to worry about propping it up against something or falling over. It also comes with two attachments for smaller, hard-to-get areas and a FurFinder upholstery tool. A downside, however, is that it is fairly bulky and heavy in my opinion. The charge also doesn’t last long; I find myself needing to recharge it between rooms on my first floor house. Overall, it’s a great everyday vacuum able to tackle your typical everyday messes. The downsides are that it may just take some extra time to clean everything that you want to in one go, without having to stop and recharge.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Hi Kayla — thanks for sharing your detailed feedback. We’re glad to hear it’s working well for everyday messes and that you’re enjoying features like AutoAdapt and the self-standing design. We understand how needing extra passes, the weight, and shorter runtime can be frustrating, and making sure filters are clean and using lower power settings when possible may help extend runtime. If you continue to have concerns, our team is happy to help at support.bissell.com.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve been using this vacuum for about a month and loving it so far! It does a great job with everyday messes, both small crumbs and bigger stuff, without needing to go over the same spot a bunch of times. The AutoAdapt feature is actually really nice too — it kicked on extra power for smashed Goldfish in the carpet and cleaned it up way easier than I expected.
The self-standing feature might honestly be one of my favorite parts. It’s so nice being able to stop and move things without having to lay the vacuum down or bend over to pick it back up. It’s lightweight and easy to move around fast, but still feels strong like a full-size vacuum. Works great for both hard floors and carpet, too! Definitely feels worth it compared to other stick vacuums I’ve used.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Overall great battery powered stick vacuum! I am most impressed by the strong suction capability on the highest suction mode. It actually works as well as a corded vacuum on carpet! Works great on hard surfaces too. Battery life is great on auto mode, which automatically switches suction based on floor type and dirt level. The vacuum being able to stand on its own is such a great feature. You don’t realize how often you need it to stand on its own until you have one of those stick vacuums that topples over. The stand up feature is a game changer. The vacuum comes with brush attachments and can be configured to a small or handheld vacuum. It’s great for stairs. Easy to empty and keep clean. Would absolutely recommend this to friends and family.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I just have to start out by saying the Bissell PowerClean DualBrush is my absolute favorite vacuum I’ve ever tried (and it makes me WANT to vacuum on the regular now). This vacuum worked great on my wooden floors, tile bathrooms, and large area rugs. It got all the everyday little crumbs and worked great at the bigger accident messes that come with kids and dogs. With it being spring season, my kids have been tracking in the smallest pollen pieces to the larger yard debris and this vacuum can get them all. The light on this vacuum showed me every single dog hair, crumb, and dust particle that needed to be vacuumed (even what i could not see with just the lights on in the house looking at the floors directly). I thought the AutoAdapt technology was pretty neat, because the vacuum could sense when the extra power was needed for larger debris and larger messes, and I could switch to the more routine areas without having to change the power level myself. I also refuse to get a vacuum that does not have a self-standing design (because once again, with kids and dogs, I get interrupted mid-cleaning sesh multiple times), and this stood up great, and never once fell. And I wouldn’t be doing this vacuum justice without mentioning the furfinder upholstery tool… Game. Changer. I used it on my couch, the dog beds, the beds, anything I could in my house, and it works amazing! I don’t think my house has ever been more fur free while having dogs than it has since I’ve been using this vacuum. In my opinion this stick vacuum works amazing and compared with other vacuums at a similar cost, I’d say the value of the Bissell PowerClean DualBrush is unmatched.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was really excited to try this version of the Bissell PowerClean which features Auto Adapt and a DualBrush head. We already owned the PowerClean FurFinder as well as two stick vacs from the brand that starts with D. Our house has hard floors with rugs as well as a dog and two kids, so a vacuum that can adapt to different surfaces and suction needs would be convenient. While overall this vacuum sucked things up quite well, the added features over the PowerClean FurFinder did not perform well enough for me to prefer this model. The AutoAdapt technology seems gimmicky after trying it. It took awhile for the suction to increase while vacuuming a rug, and any loss of suction then caused it to kick back down. I did not find the feature helpful and eventually preferred selecting my suction level manually. The lack of a low level (the regular PowerClean features 3 levels) left me unable to vacuum my thinner washable rugs without pulling them around the floor or sucking them up. The larger DualBrush head works well on the main surfaces of hard floors and thicker rugs. However, it failed to get as close to the baseboards as our D brand stick vac does. The hard floor brush also tended to shed any dog hair stuck to it onto the rug when transitioning surfaces, requiring additional passes when first moving onto rugs from hard floors. Pros: Headlight is great at illuminating debris and dog hair to make cleaning even more satisfying. Battery life is much longer than the D brand stick vacuum. Removable battery allows battery swapping instead of having to wait for a non-removable battery to charge. Self-standing design is convenient and necessary when emptying the dust bin (requires two hands). Cons: AutoAdapt does not work well enough to warrant the lack of a third suction level from the original PowerClean model. The low suction setting is not low enough. Dual brush head does not get close enough to baseboards. The dust bin is smaller than D brand, requiring more frequent emptying.
