[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently received the new Bissell vacuum, and it has honestly fit right into my very real, very chaotic mom life. Unboxing it took a minute because everything comes in separate pieces, but once I realized the three main parts just click together, it was easy. The directions don’t really walk you through assembly, so I just trusted my instincts. A cute surprise is that the box can be reused as a little cat cubby (my particular cat didn’t like it, but that’s more her problem because she is very strange). I’m letting the kids decorate it anyway to see if she eventually decides it’s worthy of her.
The vacuum itself is surprisingly versatile. I’ve used it as a stick vacuum, a handheld, and with the extended reach. The foot release on the base is one of my favorite features because I don’t have to bend down every time I want to switch attachments. As someone who is constantly juggling work calls, backpacks, and dinner prep, anything that saves me from bending over is a win.
My last stick vacuum was a Dyson, and this one is honestly easier to manage day to day. The cleaner head on the Bissell does a better job on the hard floors in my house, and I don’t have to lay it down every time I move something out of the way. It just stands there waiting for me, which sounds like a small thing but makes a big difference when you’re constantly stopping to pick up shoes or a rogue water bottle.
The headlight is bright enough to show every speck of dust. That’s both helpful and slightly horrifying, but at least I know what I’m dealing with. The filter is easy to clean, which I appreciate, although I haven’t tackled the bottom compartment yet. The battery design is another thing I really like. It pops out easily and charges on its own, so I don’t have to drag the whole vacuum over to an outlet. The three light indicator makes it simple to see how much charge is left. It’s also light enough that my kids can push it around, which means they can actually help without me worrying they’ll topple something over.
One last thing I love is that it stands upright on its own. I don’t need a special stand or a dedicated corner. I can just park it wherever I am and keep moving. For a busy household, that kind of convenience matters more than I realized.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We are a vacuum-loving household. With three kids under three and two big dogs, we vacuum at least twice a day. We’re tough on messes—sticky spills, constant crumbs, and lots of dog hair—and this vacuum has picked it all up on the first try.
As a busy mom, I need something that adjusts to my floors automatically without switching modes, and this vacuum does just that. Within seconds of changing surfaces, it switches modes based on what the floor needs.
Not being tethered to a long cord or worrying about it tipping over makes the self-standing feature stable, and honestly, it’s one of my favorite features.
Having two very large shedding dogs, I feel like we’re always trying to find the best vacuum for our needs, and this one has truly stood out! No clumping, strong suction, and precision—this vacuum offers great value for the money. I couldn’t recommend it more!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As someone who has been using very expensive cordless stick vacuums for years, I have to say I was pleasantly surprised by this one overall.
We have primarily hard floors, and it did a great job handling crumbs and larger debris on these without clogs. Success with dog hair was mixed - the light, while a great feature, is not forgiving and therefore showed every hair left behind, but I think this is a challenge for all vacuums on hard floors. It also leaves behind quite a bit along edges and in corners. It seemed to perform well enough rugs, but I did feel like the canister was not as full as it typically is on my other vacuum after vacuuming each of our area rugs. The AutoAdapt feature was nice when transitioning to rugs, but it increased too much on one of our rugs and led to the machine consistently having to shut off because the rollers would stop. I also had to adjust power manually quite frequently during use, most often opting for the higher power setting on hard floors.
I was very impressed with this machine’s run time, and the light is a great feature. I also appreciate that it is self-standing, as most stick vacuums aren’t, and they tip over frequently at my house! My favorite part about the vacuum is probably the attachments. There’s a good variety, and they are very sturdy. I especially loved the versatility of the crevice tool with a retractable brush attachment. The upholstery attachment also performed well on our canvas and microsuede couches.
One thing to note is that this machine is hefty. I initially thought that more of the machine would detach when removed from the charger, but was surprised to see that it’s all vacuum. It’s heavy and quite large at the top which could be an issue for some.
Overall, it is a decent option for the value, but could do with more power, especially considering the size and weight. It did not perform well enough to be my sole vacuum.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Thanks for sharing such a detailed review. We’re glad the run time, attachments, and self‑standing design worked well for you, but we’re sorry the suction and AutoAdapt performance didn’t meet your expectations. We’d be happy to help troubleshoot the roller shut‑offs and offer tips for better edge and pet‑hair pickup. Please reach out to us at support.bissell.com so we can assist.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I absolutely love this vacuum! It glides smoothly and is very easy to maneuver, making cleaning quick and efficient. It handles everything from small snack crumbs to the bigger messes my young children leave behind.
I was excited to try the AutoAdapt technology and did notice it activating at times, though occasionally I found myself adjusting the power manually. The self-standing design is another feature I really appreciate because it makes storage simple and compact.
I previously owned a different stick vacuum that I wasn’t happy with, which made me assume stick vacuums just weren’t very powerful. This one completely changed my mind. My favorite feature is the headlights on the front of the vacuum, it makes it so much easier to see crumbs, dirt, and debris that might otherwise be missed.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’m pretty sure Bissell has thought of every detail with this vacuum. Firstly and most importantly, it has great suction - noticeably more than most stick vacs, and it picked up a solid amount of dirt in the carpets even after I had already done a pass through with our old vac. It also effortlessly handled the hard floors picking up everything from smaller items like pet hair and dust to larger items like snacks dropped by the kids. Our old vacuum had different head attachments for hard floors and for carpet, and I love that this one does both surfaces effectively without having to change the head out. Another nice feature is the AutoAdapt which automatically kicks up the power when dirt is detected. I normally use the lowest setting on hard floors, but the AutoAdapt turns on in areas where it’s needed like the floor mats by the front and back door. There are two features this vacuum has that I never knew I needed, but now absolutely can not live without - self standing and headlights. It is so convenient to just be able to pause and move something out of the way without having to lean the vacuum against a wall or lay it down on the floor, and the headlamp really highlights all of the fur, dust, and hair on the floor so I don’t miss anything. I’m constantly in disbelief at how much stuff is on the floor given that I run the vacuum every day or two, but I will admit it is so satisfying to watch it all get sucked up. The battery life on the vacuum is also really good. I can cover the entire 2900 sq ft house on one charge. Overall, this vacuum works better, has more features, and does more than our old vacuum which was twice the price, so it’s definitely a great value, and I can wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone looking for a solid vacuum. Vacuuming is still a chore, but this vacuum makes it a lot easier.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve been really impressed with this vacuum. It’s lightweight and easy to maneuver, which makes cleaning the whole house much less of a chore. One of my favorite features is the automatic suction adjustment—it changes power depending on the surface, so it works just as well on hard floors as it does on rugs without me having to think about it.
The floor lights are another feature I didn’t realize I needed until I had them. They illuminate dust and debris so clearly that it’s almost satisfying to vacuum, especially if you’re a bit of a cleaning freak like me. It makes it much easier to make sure you’re not missing anything.
Performance-wise, it handles both my dog’s short hair and my long hair really well. Hair pickup has been excellent, and it doesn’t get tangled easily.
My only small wish is that the dust bin were a bit bigger. I wouldn’t mind a tiny bit more weight if it meant I could empty it less often. Overall though, it’s a great vacuum and I’m very happy with it.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am very impressed with the Bissell PowerClean DualBrush! This stick vacuum is a great value for the price and fit my needs as a house run by 3 dogs and a toddler. It is lightweight and maneuvers easily. I particularly enjoyed how easily it was to empty the chamber and replace without having to use my hand to remove stuck debris. The self standing feature was a great addition that I had not considered before which came in handy. This stick vacuum did well transferring from hardwood floors to rugs throughout my home. Sometimes it felt as if it was not as powerful as I would like, but it had no trouble sucking up any mess I tackled, including baking soda used after a potty mess. I believe this is because it is so quiet! The attachments are great and are easily switched back and forth as needed. The auto-adapt technology surprised me and did kick in at the proper time, giving an extra boost. This vacuum is a great option for those who seek a more affordable option without sacrificing performance! I definitely recommend this vacuum!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This vacuum handled both hardwood and carpet like a champ! Very easy to empty, switch attachments and the maneuverability is AWESOME!
I like that I can stand it up wherever I want it to reside or when pausing to empty the tank. The lay flat handle feature was true to its word, and this pretty much goes under anything and is only restricted be exceptionally low objects.
Maneuvered flawlessly in, around and under tables, cabinets, and chairs in the dining room. The obvious trail of where it has been was a surprise! making it easy to ensure I do not miss anything but also a clear indicator that it is picking up everything.
I like you can charge the battery in the vacuum or alone by itself. But the charge is the only fault I can find in this amazing product. much more than 2 or 3 of rooms and it is time to recharge. I wish it lasted longer.
Overall, for the value I think I would still buy this despite the short life span over other similar vacuums.
I would recommend this to a friend!
