[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As a mom of two kids (6th & 3rd grade) as well as a cat and a dog, in a house with a combination of hard wood with area rugs, this vacuum is a great option. It easily transitions between surfaces and the charge lasted long enough to clean the entire main floor of our house with charge to spare (and took about 3 hours to fully charge the device). The design of the device makes is very easy to switch between different heads and different modes (handheld or upright).
It is easy to operate, my kids even offered to help. My daughter particularly liked the wheels on the motorized foot, which made moving it around very easy.
The vacuum comes with two different modes, an AutoAdapt [3 strengths] as well as a manual mode [2 strengths]. I most use the AutoAdapt, but it doesn't always get as strong as I would like it to (although none of my messes are that bad). However, it is very easy to switch over to the manual mode and turn on the turbo setting. It did a great job, even in eco mode, of picking up most of the standard dust, pet fur, and debris that accumulates over a day or two. It was nice to have the turbo mode to pick up spilled dry cereal as well as spilled flour that was on the kitchen floor (a result of independent kids getting a snack and learning to bake).
The motorized foot has a self standing feature, which is nice to be able to stop vacuuming and not need to find a wall or furniture to lean the vacuum up against. It will also stand on its own without the vacuum attached (but with the extension wand), so easy to store in a closet if you are using it in handheld mode.
Both the motorized foot and the fur finder tool have built in lights, which really helps illuminate dust and pet fur (and perhaps makes you realize how much dirt, dust, and pet hair can hide in plain sight!). It also comes with a wall mount that you can set up with the charger for easy storage/charging. The wall mount has spots for the two additional heads (furfinder tool & 2-in-1 dusting brush).
I am always on the hunt for the perfect vacuum. One that can do it all without breaking the bank. I think this one joins the top group of options.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Bissell PowerClean DualBrush with AutoAdapt™ Technology turns a standard chore into a high-tech, efficient experience. Instead of manually fumbling with switches, the vacuum intelligently senses changes in floor types and debris levels. It automatically ramps up to a deep "turbo" clean the moment you hit a rug or a messy patch, then scales back on hard floors to save battery. If you have a multi-surface home and want a machine smart enough to handle those transitions for you, this is it.
What really puts this in the "must-have" category is its ability to adapt to different spaces. I was able to switch from carpets to stairs instantly with a quick tool change. It handled cracks, crevices, and molding just as easily as the main floor. Plus, the LED lights on both the motorized foot and the FurFinder™ tool are game-changers, revealing hidden debris you’d normally miss.
Overall, this is a powerful, high-tech upgrade that handles the "thinking" for you. It’s been a fantastic addition to our busy household!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently got this new Bissell PowerClean DualBrush Stick Vacuum and immediately out of the box I was so excited. It's a nice dark blue color, nothing too bright or crazy looking. Putting it together was super simple, it only took a couple of minutes and more so because I was admiring everything. It came with 3 attachment piece. The first one being the main head, then there was the pet hair attachment which is much smaller for better convenience and then the third piece was actually a 2-in-1 (which honestly made me so happy) which was the small, flatter, long piece for small cracks. On that last piece there is a bristle part that just easily slides down if something needs a good brush to get loose. With previous vacuums that I have had, there were always a ton of attachment pieces that easily got lost or just too many to really put to use. I feel like Bissell really thought this through and I totally appreciated that.
There is a wall attachment that lets you easily hang your vacuum up against the wall where the charger can run through, but I honestly haven't even used that yet because this vacuum stick can stand on it's own! I cannot tell you how happy that made me. A lot of times, as a mom of 4 plus some pets, I'm constantly having to stop vacuuming to either move something out of the way or pick something up and with my old vacuum stick I would have to balance it on something. Well, not with this Bissell! It just easily and very sturdily stands on its own.
Let's get to the real business now! It's very simple, only 2 buttons. The power on button and the suction power mode. Immediately from switching it on I was excited to see that this one has the light on the head so that you can see where all the dust and dirt is and I've never had that before. That makes things so much easier for me as I have really dark floors and often it looks clean but really isn't! No more guessing for me! My old vacuum had a really hard time for some reason on our new living room rug and would stop working every time. That was incredibly inconvenient when you have a lot of kids eating and making crumbs. This Bissell worked no problem! Just for your knowledge, I have dark wooden floors, area rugs and carpeted stairs and carpets upstairs and this vacuum worked easily on any surface!
I left some bigger pieces of dirt laying around to really test to see what and how much it could pick up and it was pretty good. There was some pieces that didn't go up easy but that wouldn't have worked with my old vacuum either.
Something that I really love about this Bissell is how light it is! My younger kids can actually use the vacuum no problem! I've had to carry my 1 year old around on my hip and vacuum and managed to do so without taking a breather. Now that is a big deal for a stay at home mom with littles.
The battery life was pretty good. I charged it once initially and vacuumed on the stop suction mode 2 days in a row (whole bottom floor of a 3,000sq ft home) without putting back on charge. At the very end of my last clean the battery died just as I finished. My other vacuum would only be able to do one day (maybe even only half) without it dying. Mind you, my old vacuum that I replaced the Bissell with is not old. It is only about 2 years old.
Something I don't like about this, and it is just me being nit picky really, is that the filter area isn't really the easiest. There are multiple pieces to take apart in order to empty out the dirt which isn't really ideal. It is not a deal breaker though. Just took me a good few minutes to do it without making a mess.
Lastly, my only bad issue that I have (and it is a pretty big one) is that when it died I immediately put it on charge that night and in the morning I wanted to use it again and it will not switch on. I tried to trouble shoot it and used different outlets in different parts of my house but no matter what, it won't turn back on. So hopefully Bissell can help me out with this issue.
I would recommend this to a friend!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have had many stick vacuums in my life and the few problems I have had with others, I can truly appreciate were SOLVED with this one!
The dual brush head was chefs kiss for my hardwood floors. It was as if I took a microfiber cloth behind me to get in the nooks and crannies and get the micro dust. Loved it. I have two toddlers AND a cat and dog, so you can say my house likes to collect dirt/debris on a daily basis. My washable rugs with a water proof backing typically get crumbs on them from my kiddos at least twice a day. I was able to get that cleaned up with this vacuum since it didn’t suction it so tightly that it automatically would shut off like my other ones. With that being said, I do find this THRIVES on hardwood/rugs but doesn’t get quite as deep of a clean on carpet as a few others I have tried in the past. But it makes up for it with the head light to see the ick on my floors as well as being able to vacuum my typical non-vacuumable rugs. All in all, 9/10 I really enjoyed this vacuum and love that I can use it almost anywhere! The price is totally reasonable for what you get, too. Huge thanks to the Stellar Product Testing Panel for letting me try this amazing product!
*BONUS* They made the box it comes in a Cat Hideaway and my cat ALSO loved this vacuum!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This vacuum was exactly what I’ve been waiting for!
This busy mom of one (plus two fur-babies) was looking for a vacuum that was light weight, easily able to maneuver, and kept its battery life. This vacuum checked all those boxes.
I currently have a vacuum that does an okay job. It’s a combo vacuum/ mop that runs on a schedule whenever we aren’t home. It leaves so much debris around the baseboards and does not get in tight spaces. AND takes forever to charge.
Here are some of the pros and cons of this vacuum:
Pros:
Very quite vacuum when vacuuming on carpet or hard floors.
Self Standing mode: I didn’t realize how much this is a game changer! Need to move something, no problem. It stands in on or off mode!
Extremely light: this is great for lugging around the house or needing to only use one hand.
Great suction: This gets hair/ dirt and debris in ONE PASS! On hard floor or carpet.
Vacuum adapts suction based off activity or surface: LOVE! It detects when you are next to a baseboard or on carpet &adjusts its suction power based off that.
Multiuse attachments: I love that the attachments are combined together! Normally a vacuum has a million attachments. I love the innovation to build a two in one!
The BOX!!!!!! We all know how much cats love boxes— the cat caddy is leaning in to that!
Cons:
Canister size is small: would love to see a larger basket.
Emptying process: it requires two hands. You pop off the canister and lift out a filter.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Pros: It’s very versatile, handling everyday messes, dust/cobwebs in hard to reach places, and general deep clean vacuuming really well. It stands up by itself, which is a true dream and so handy. The vac converts into handheld or stick without brushes super easily. The guide lights are a huge help in seeing crumbs on hard floors. It can transition from rugs to hard floors easily and, with the AutoAdapt technology, it adjusts suction level automatically so the rug doesn't get caught in the vac. It’s pretty quiet for a vacuum. The battery is powerful and easy to remove. The dust tank is easy to remove. The vacuum is easy to steer, is lightweight, yet attachments are durable and made to last. Oh, and it comes in a cardboard box called the ‘Cat Cubby’ that can be used as a cat toy! Big fan of reusing before recycling. Good job, Bissell!
Cons: The charge cord is hard to remove from unit if you are wanting to plug into the wall without using the charging mount. The handheld is heavier than my Bissell Pet Hair Eraser handheld. I wish the nozzle was longer when using as handheld. It’s not a bag system so dust isn’t contained when emptying the tank.
Rating: Overall I would recommend this vacuum to my friends and family; especially for the price point. The biggest selling point for me is that it stands up by itself!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this vacuum the day after I moved into our new home with two large dogs — a 1907 Victorian-style home in need of a little TLC. It has a lot of character, but has even more dust/debris. Add in the many holes we’ve needed to drill into the plaster & you’ve got a recipe for an awesome few weeks testing out a new vacuum. We ran this vacuum side-by-side our older vacuum (a common competitor of similar design), and found the Bissell to be superior in every way except for weight. If you plan to carry this vacuum up and down flights of stairs multiple times per day, it may not be ideal for a smaller older individual. Otherwise the battery life, suction power, and self-standing design provide significant benefit over our older cordless vacuum. We’ve had no difficulty transitioning between rugs, hardwood, small decorative tile, and large kitchen tile and it’s tackled both everyday mess & larger reno-related challenges with ease. The auto-adapt technology took me by surprise at first and I don’t notice it kick in super often, but it’s a great feature that has definitely shortened our clean up time. And because we’re still in the thick of updates in a home with minimal closets, we haven’t found the time or space to mount our charger. This self-standing design is a GAME CHANGER right now, as we can still routinely charge our vacuum without it laying across the room for several hours at a time. We can just set it up to the side, out of the way! Overall, we are so happy with this vacuum and it will absolutely be replacing our older cordless vacuum as the go-to in our new home.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The dualbrush is a great product for many different kinds of messes. As someone with 2 cats, 2 dogs, and a toddler, it is hard to keep up with all the messes that are made on a weekly basis. I like the autoadapt suction depending on what it is vacuuming up. Our dogs and cats have favorite spots in the house and fur tends to mat in those places. It's hard to get it all up even with a few passes so the autoadapt really makes a difference. I appreciate the light on the end of the vacuum because sometimes it's hard to see if I'm actually getting what needs to be picked up. I love that it is easy to take apart and use to deep clean our couches, chairs, even the car seat and seats in our vehicles. The fact that I don't have to go get a hand vacuum, or shop vac, or plug in a vacuum to get to different messes. The only things that I'd knock is the battery life and the dust catcher is kind of small. But those are very small in the grand scheme of the versatility and value this vacuum brings.
